WORSHIPPING AT THE ALTAR OF DEATH

That may be the most idiotic comment ever left on this site.

Are you saying that because she had an eating disorder she wanted to starve to death? What kind of half wit are you?

"NOT ALL MUSLIMS ARE BAD"...DUH!

Excellent point, Maryhunter and I would answer it thusly;

The CBS movie provoked outrage across ethnic, racial, religious, and even political lines. While many supported CBS's right to show the movie and worried about the pressure being put on the network, the fact is that the reason that CBS caved was a result of the massive, organized, and public protests of a pretty broad range of people.

Fox, on the other hand, caved to a small minority represented by a pressure group with ties to terrorists. Their reasoning was much different than CBS because of the rivalry between Fox and other MSM outlets. One can imagine (and I'm sure Fox executives COULD imagine it) that any protest mounted by CAIR and the muslim community would be dwelt on lovingly by the other major MSM outlets. CAIR would milk the protest for all that it would be worth and Fox would, in the end, lose the PR war.

While Fox's capitulation is understandable, it is to my mind inexcusable because it sets a precedent that other networks may feel compelled to follow. Changing a program "artistically" to satisfy a pressure group is also different than making a decision on whether or not to show a controversial movie.

SO MUCH FOR BUSH "DESTROYING THE CONSTITUTION"

"Does name calling and personal assaults make your opinions any more correct?"

Of course not...but if you come to my house and and leave a comment that has nothing to do with the post, then I can call you anything that enters my head.

As for Commissioner Smith being Bush's "Henchman", if you knew anything about the issue (which you obviously don't when you're STILL trying to compare the Patriot Act with FEC regs)here's some info for you:

"When President Bush first signed McCain-Feingold into law, the six-member FEC granted a blanket exemption to the internet by a 4-2 vote. Last year, however, a federal judge ruled the commission must reexamine that exemption. Mr. Smith and his two fellow Republican commissioners sought to appeal the ruling, but the three Democrats blocked that from happening."

So if Smith is Bush's "Henchmen" he seems to be doing a pretty good job of protecting free speech while the Democrats are the ones who wish to regulate it.

First, if you look at my most recent posts, I've written about this threat 4 times in the last week.

Second, what do FEC regs have to do with the Patriot Act you dimwitted Moonbat?

JOIN THE FIGHT! SIGN THE PETITION!

I;m not a journalist...I'm a polemicist. I would hope the same free speech rights enjoyed by journalists would be extended to me.

BACK AND TO THE RIGHT...BACK AND TO THE RIGHT

Hey Moonbat! Your more than TWO DAYS behind this story.

First, THERE WERE NO MARINES IN IRAQ AT THE TIME OF SADDAM'S CAPTURE!

"First of all, there were no major Marine units in Iraq at the time that Saddam was captured. The last Marines to leave Iraq left at the end of September '03 (I was in the last Marine convoy to leave Iraq, trust me on this one). Marines did not re-enter Iraq en masse until January of '04." (HT: The Neocon; http://theneocon.blogspot.com/2005/03/ex-marine-alleges-saddam-story-was.html

Second: Casualty lists from that period show no Marines dying AT ALL!

Third:

I tried searching the Marine Corps Uniform Board tool for looking up who has been approved for a Combat Action Ribbon (something he would have received had he, you know, ever been shot at or shot at someone), his name does not show up (tool located here: https://lnweb1.manpower.usmc.mil/ma...tion.nsf/search).

I've seen the tin foil hatters at DU talking about this operation being so secret that of course they wouldn't publish any casualties from it. Here's my proof, where's yours, dingbat?

GIULIANA SGRENA IS A LIAR

I have NEVER deleted, edited, or otherwise tampered with a comment on this site.

I believe that if people want to make fools of themselves, they have my enthusiastic permission to do so.

To call Sgrena a journalist is laughable. She's a propogandist for an ideology that has never placed a premium on truth. Or as Reagan used to say..."They reserve unto themselves the ability to lie, to cheat, to falsify history..."

If you can't see that Sgrena's statements became progessively more anti_American as the hours passed and she realized what a cause celbre on the left she had become, then you're willfully blind.

Again, the question has to be asked...

WHAT SHE DOING STILL ALIVE IF SHE WAS A "TARGET" FOR ASSASSINATION?

Speaking of conspiracy theories (BTW, it wasn't a "cop" that made the statement about the Mauser in TSD, it was an AP reporter who saw the gun and mis ID'd it. The AP pulled the report in minutes...but not before NBC reported it.) Ms. Sgrena has yet to explain how it could possibly have been a hit if the Americans didn't even know she was released. The Italian intelligence service has admitted to not coordinating with our military on her release.

This should be pretty easy to understand even for a barking moonbat like you...How can the US military target someone for death when they don't even know that the person targeted is within 100 miles of their checkpoint?
