ABU GHRAIB: "MY GIVE A DAMN'S BUSTED"

Maybe it's just me, but I seem to recall one General Karpinski who was fired and reprimanded for her lax oversight and discipline at the jail.

Not being an idiot liberal, I can't understand why punishing more than one general would somehow either improve discipline or satisfy the bloodlust that you and other moonbat doinkbloomers seem to have.

If you'd just admit that the scalp you're after is the commander in chief's rather than carrying on this charade that you care one iota about the troops or those poor, put upon islamic terrorists you may be more believable. As it is, your faux outrage rings pretty hollow when you consider that, if we use your logic (placing blame on people higher up the chain of command to satisfy your fake sense of responsibility)perhaps we could've held Bill Clinton responsible for the numerous indictments involving his staff and cabinet. But then, Bill had his own problems, didn't he.

As for the curious crack about Jeff Gannon, if you click on the "About" link in the sidebar, you'll see that not to be the case. Your obsession with homosexuality suggests you haven't quite come out of the closet yet. I urge you to do so. I've heard its a very liberating experience.

Say hi to your boyfriends at DU for me.

Oh my! You're the first person WHO EVER SAID THAT!

Whew! I guess I'm doing something right. Pissing off liberal loons is fun!

IS THE POPE CATHOLIC?

TMH:

I can't tell you what an honor you do me...I...I...I'm speechless! To go from being a baptized Catholic, to an agnostic, and finally given your impramatur (little bit of catholic humor there) as an honorary Catholic is something I'll treasure for as long as I live.

Does this mean I can take communion again?

FOUNDING BROTHER

Two spelling errors in one post. Tsk tsk...My spell check plug in needs a little fine tuning.

Jim:

Technically, you're correct in that Revere did not start warning the countryside until after 12:00 am on the 19th.

However, he set off from Charleston at around 10:30 pm on the 18th to warn Adams et al in Lexington.

Plus, you gonna argue with Longfellow? (LOL)

DoD CONNECTION CONFIRMED

Adrienne:

I could have sworn one of those two guys was Baldy-the guy that Curtis pistol whipped at the office where Marwan was directing the meltdowns.

Dave:

Curtis was killed in those offices by a wounded merc who shot him in he back. And I agree with most of what you said about the implausibility of the entire sequence. But rather than turn it off I've decided to suspend belief.

Greg:

My understanding of the way the football works (read Buzz Anderson's great book on how Clinton lost his pocket code book!) is that the go/no-go launch codes have to be sent electronically to the launch platform (missile, sub, plane) where it's verified by humans who get a copy of the code for that day.

OLD GREY LADY BRINGS OUT THE LONG KNIVES

Funny you never mentioned anything about the point of the post...that the NYT is a hypocritical rag of a paper more interested in serving the interests of its ideological brethren than living up to its masthead "All the News that's Fit to Print."

As to Mr. DeLay's alleged wrongdoing, are you kidding me? As soon as the democrats reform themselves regarding junkets, payola, and admit to being the inventors of gerrymandering (I'm shocked...just shocked that a political party would seek to gain advantage when redistricting comes around!)...then I'll say goodbye to Mr. DeLay.

Until then, run along and go bother some other moonbat. I'm tired of responding to your nonsense.

ADSCAM: TRULY ELEGANT SLEAZE

Just a quick note to my buddy Justin:

Your country has fewer people in it than the state of California. The fact that we have a democracy at all is remarkable given that we have nearly 10 times the number of people.

It's called the "politics of scale" dimwit. Now go away and let the grown-ups talk. You can play with your choo choo trains, 'kay?
