Related to the last part of the piece--I didn't vote for this administration--and only 2% of the senate and less than 1% of the congress--so, don't go there. Bush sat on his butt, laughing it up, playing guitar, on vacation for too long (along with his high staff)--similar to the 7 minutes in the classroom of 9/11--just really not knowing what to do, but it played out in similar ways--with many lives lost that didn't need to be lost (and still continuing with Bush's actions following 9/11). There wasn't national leadership in a national emergency--and this should have everyone worried related to homeland security and other big natural disasters--just wait until it happens where you live. Are you ready?
