The terrorists in each news story in which waterboarding has been used are not protected under the rules of the Geneva Convention. They are not uniformed soldiers and break a host of other rules of war themselves.

How did Democrats ever give the public the idea that the Clinton mess was all about sex? Well, it had something to do with all the noise Republicans made about Clinton having sex.
The right's little dodge backfired and now they want to pretend they were all warriors on behalf of the law and the Constitution. Meanwhile, the rest of us get to read about the prosecutor purge, FBI overreach, and -- wait for it -- the possibility of a pardon for Scooter Libby, convicted perjurer.

"...But I can see some people asking that such fare be denied to youngsters as a responsible component of rearing children..." I agree with you in that those who can not protect themselves (children) should be protected by safeguards, but I hear too many Christians talk about censorship of television, movies, and video games. I cannot help but think that they should just hit the "off" button, instead of allowing these forms of media to babysit.

Why do lefties so often assume Savage speaks for mainstream conservatives? So what if he has 5MM listeners - the mainstream is a lot wider than that.
Beautiful job on the fisking, especially pointing out the facts that were ignored in order to shape the narrative to fit his very narrow mindset.

Some of us believed that, when it comes to matters of peace and war, a president should be given the benefit of the doubt. This president has proved our belief wrong.

BEHIND CLOSED DOORS: AMATEUR HOUR FOR SENATE DEMS
The minority party should not be degraded into a ankle-biting french poodle bunch of wimps. Instead of attacking only their political enemies, how about getting on board with the US war on terrorism and offering their own positive input. Then maybe thy could win an election every once in a while.
