"Yes, I know, you disagree."
How could anyone in their right mind disagree with cutting $100 million in wasteful spending?
The wingnuts are getting desperate and can't tell the difference of what they are for or what they are against.
And in this case angry because Obama might look good over this.Comment Posted By jharp On 20.04.2009 @ 15:42
"Would it be paranoid of me to assume that the bulk of that $100 million will just coincidentally come from programs that were put in place between 1/20/01 and 1/19/09?"
And might I asked what makes the difference?
Wasteful spending is wasteful spending. It doesn't matter what time period it originates.
Geez. You guys and your hatred of Obama is ridiculous. Why not find something worthwhile to whine about? Like his position on warrantless wiretaps. Or his reluctance to prosecute torturers.Comment Posted By jharp On 20.04.2009 @ 14:15
Get your head out of the president’s ass and look at reality.
Get over your hatred of Obama.
A hundred million wasted is bad. Obama ended it. That's good.Comment Posted By jharp On 20.04.2009 @ 13:39
You do nothing here but show your hatred of Obama.
What is God's name is wrong with cutting 100 million of waste?
You're kidding, right? Let's see if I can make it simple for the simple minded.
2009 deficit: $1.75 TRILLION
Obama makes big deal about getting the cabinet together (why the cabinet meeting? Why not text them or call them old fashioned wise on the telephone?) to cut 1/37,000 of the budget.
Get your head out of the president's ass and look at reality.

"So why all the manufactured outrage?"
Because they lost to a man they hate and are whiny losers. Exactly the same reason the teabaggers embarrassed themselves last week.Comment Posted By jharp On 20.04.2009 @ 13:41
"I will be the first to admit that the United States has behaved very badly in Latin America over the years; there has been resource grabbing, commercial exploitation, support for thugs like Somoza, and CIA shenanigans in countries too numerous to count.
There’s worse and it’s all true."
And Obama responds. 'To move forward, we cannot let ourselves be prisoners of past disagreements. I’m grateful that President Ortega did not blame me for things that happened when I was three months old."
I honestly don't see how you can come to your conclusion that Obama erred by not walking out.
I'm a new visitor here and thought I was witnessing a wingnut conversion to truthiness.
After today it seems I was wrong.Comment Posted By jharp On 20.04.2009 @ 10:41
Good for you, Rick.
It takes a big man to admit they were wrong.
Let's hope some more of those on the right come to their senses.Comment Posted By jharp On 18.04.2009 @ 09:33
"what dose the tea party stand"
Taxed Enough Already T E A
And they came up with this after Obama just cut taxes for 95% of Americans in his first 90 days in office.
Mind boggling.Comment Posted By jharp On 16.04.2009 @ 12:19
"Well, the best we can hope for is for Republicans to finally control all branches of government again."
"That’s really our only real chance of getting past the national nightmare of Republicans controlling all branches of government."
Really good. And 100% dead on.
I truly wonder what these people are thinking.Comment Posted By jharp On 16.04.2009 @ 09:36
What I saw yesterday was 200,000 whining sore losers.
And face it. It was nothing but an anti Obama rally. And after he cut taxes and taxes are lower now than under Reagan.
Get over it. Your guy lost. And mostly because of your previous guy, Bush, destroyed the economy.
And no one. No one likes the deficit spending. But we are out of options. Just today another 650,000 jobs announced gone. And that's been the case for the past 6 months.Comment Posted By jharp On 16.04.2009 @ 09:27
