SUPREME COURT UPHOLDS MOST OF TEXAS GERRYMANDER

Steve.

Right on target. What is there to celebrate as a Republican?

What the supremes have done with their "enlightened" decision is to ensure an endless cycle of retaliation by Republicans and Democrats.

By taking down the legal constraint the the 10 year census produced as a deterrant for all out abuse, the Supreme Court just ensured an endless food fight between parties.

What a way to run a Democracy!!! Now it is legal to use Gerrymandering at any time, in any place, by any one.

The myopic view taken by the Supreme Court in their decision to disregard census numbers as a restraint for Gerrymandering is appaling. As a Republican (or Democrat) there is not a darn thing to celebrate about that STUPID decision. That is unless you don't mind to be put in different voting districts every time there is a change in the ruling party in power.

Gerrymandering as far as I am concerned is a cheap, low life way of unfairly taking advantage of our Democracy. The same Democracy that so many people have fought and die to defend. It was invented by Politicians for the benefit of Politicians NOT THE PEOPLE.

AHMADINEJAD AND HIS LIBERAL TALKING POINTS

Seriously guys... What are you putting on your kool-aid?.

Good lt.

I am sorry, you lost me what "war revenues" are you talking about?. The last thing we are getting out of Iraq is revenues. In fact the only one getting revenues in this conflict is Halliburton.

"The Democrats question Iraq" . Absolutely. That does not make them soul mates of Ahmadinejad. Let me ramind you that Republicans are questioning the war in Iraq also. In my opinion, it is not that the Democrats sound like the Iranian President, but rather than the Iranian president is sounding like 65% of AMERICANS in questioning this war. That is a more fair statement, and more real also.

"Democrats wander if Jesus would be pleased with what Bush has done". They do?. Just when I though that Pat Robertson had a monopoly on the Jesus interpretation business.

"Democrats talk about repentance". No. Democrats talk about ACCOUNTABILITY. If Bush and partners want to repeant they can go to a priest.

Finally. The American Jewish community is one of the strongest supporters of the Democratic party. It is NOT credible that the Democrats would be claiming that the Iraq war was conducted to help the Israelis. The remark is made to imply corruption, and collusion between Jews, and Americans can you name ONE politician or Democratic pundit that has expressed this view?.

In short. Your views,a and the views of the author of this blog are nothing but red hearing, and shamless spin.

Funny the author of this blog considers Ahmadinejad sounds like a liberal parrot !!!.

Let's see, The man is a religious fanatic, looking for trouble preferibly a war with the west, he is an extremist with an agenda, he wants to destroy Israel, he wants egemony in the Arab world, he of course wants a nuclear bomb.... And he sounds liberal!!!.

Are you high?.

With the only exception of the destruction of Israel remarks, you give this man a pot belly, a pair of bi-focals and a shot gun and you can start calling him Dick !!.

IMAGE IS SUBSTANCE IN IMMIGRATION DEBATE

kender.

The "treaty" of Guadalupe-Hidalgo came after a war that Mexico Lost. The so called treaty was signed while American troops were in Mexico City.
To believe that Mexico went to war with the U.S.A. on border disputes including Texas, only to give half their country after they lost the war, because they needed 15 million dollars is idiotic.
As for the Muslims reclaiming back their land, last I checked the Muslims invaded Spain, and were trown out. You comparison does not hold water.

BEYOND SCANDALOUS: MIND BOGGLING CORRUPTION IN THE RECONSTRUCTION OF IRAQ

Randy

Raight on.

There is only so much money to go around. Bush and the Republicans insisted on having their tax cuts in the middle of two wars and the math just does not add up. The reconstruction after Katrina is simply not working because of lack of adecuate resources.

What ever happened to the Conservative Republican Ideals of fiscal responsibility?.
