reliapundit, I think that they the Muslims have already swallowed France to some extent. If anything the riots and the French government capitulation demonstrated that muslims are already in control of France. If this is true, it will not be long before sharia becomes the law of the land.

My favorite saying is 'Never underestimate the stupidity of the people' which some of you, in due respect, are showing in your comments. First, Darwins Evolution Theory is just that, a theory. In science any theory is subject to constant analysis and evaluation. Those scientists that are proposing intelligent design are not biblical creativists but are proposing an alternate and/or complement to evolution because evolution simple does not answer all the questions about the creation and changes of life forms. In fact, David Bohm, a physicist on the par with Einstein and his other peers, not only posited but proved that there is something going on in the universe at the micro and macro levels that cannot be explained by evolution, quantum mechanics or any other theory. War is hell. The enemy is trying to kill you with whatever resources it has. The enemy in Iraq are terrorists that do not respect any warring convention. i.e. what does the Geneva convention has about car bombs and suicide bombers. As far as I'm concerned that leaves it completely open for our forces to use whatever means necessary to wipe out the enemy. Only the leftist idiots would try to moralize that.

Sorry B.Poster, but the Democrats will NOT jettison the far left because it is from them, Soros and company, that they get most of their campaign funds. In the previous Bill Clinton elections, it was the Hollywood crowd, leftist business associates and other radical organizations that furnished most of his election monies. Yeh, rebuild New Orleans but build it somewhere else. The area where the city is currently located is geological unstable being the flood plain of a major river. The rebuilt city will ultimately either fall into the sea due to the massive erosion of the Mississippi delta, be innudated by the Mississippi if the river ever escape its the artificial channel created by the Army Corp of Engineers or be once again flooded by the next major hurricane to visit that area.

Aargh, Rick, if you have to ask the question “DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE THE LOVE OF GOD GOES?†then you probably don't know God. God is love, period, and our mission on earth is to emulate Him as best we can. The best way for us humans to emulate Gods love is to show love and compassion for our fellow man. When Jesus Christ was asked what were the greatest commandments, the first was to love God with all ones might, the second was to love our neighbor as oneself. How easy it is to ignore or forget this second commandment in the ordinary run of a days activities. Crisis situations like hurrican Katrina are opportunities given to us to show our love for our fellow man with works of charity.
