OBAMA HASN'T SHEATHED HIS SWORD OF FEAR QUITE YET

Rest assured Rick that capital is far more clever than the government we have in place.

You will have again the boom and bust cycle that you crave.

And we will again just like today have innocent victims, people who merely wanted to go to work everyday, save a little, see their kids off, and retire. Your fellow Americans.

These fellow Americans will find themselves in the dustbin of history, proving that the system works. After all, is not history written by the winners? If all you could ever hope for was a steady job, a roof over your head, and hope for your offspring are you then not dull, stupid, and inflexible?

Go ahead and screw your boot in the face of those who chose not to participate in Tulipmania.

Your fear of fear is misplaced. Your fervent wish will again come true. Obama is no obstacle, as capital is far too clever.

THE POST MY DETRACTORS WISH I HAD WRITTEN ABOUT THE TEA PARTIES

From the urban dictionary:

Tea-Bag - 8 definitions - Dipping your testicles into the open mouth of another person

Could this explain attendence?

Wow Rick you really rub their noses in it!

The tea parties will shortly speak of forming militias.

After all a "well-regulated" militia, being necessary for the defense of "the state"...uh...when you read it makes as much sense as the Bible.

If only my faith were stronger there would be no fear. Jesus will pull my nuts out of the fire!

WEAK TEA

Interesting on how many of your readers demand your blessing, you, one man with a blog. Are you seen as a messiah for the cause? And if the blessing is not forthcoming, and if a gnashing of teeth is indeed heard, are you then against the cause?

why do they make you so important? If not for Rick Moran's support, we coulda been somebody, we coulda been contenders. But no, it was you Ricky!

IF GOVERNMENT MAKES LIFE EASIER, DOES THAT MAKE IT BETTER?

Rick: "Does being an atheist make me any less of a conservative?"

Only about 66% less...

"But I think I share most of the same basic principles of conservatism with conservatives of faith."

Oh, so it's about faith then?

Ignoring that you refuse to accept Jesus as the pathway to immortality. Go ahead and tell us there is no heaven, nor hell. Just go ahead...

"There’s more than one way to skin a cat..."

Pure heresy! Okay, let's just find out. How do you skin a cat, how does someone else? And who will decide damnation? Or can we all just find common ground in cliches?

A WELCOME SABBATICAL

48 pounds lost since September without exercise. Might you consider moving around a bit more? Slim fast is not a balanced diet, nor should exercise be neglected.

Get some fresh air, and fresh food.

We actually might miss you otherwise.

SUCKLING THE GOVERNMENT SUGAR TIT

This situation is absurd.

Perhaps we can all agree that something should be done. I am not intelligent enough to figure it out. How can we get the biggest bang for our bucks? I hope the last gasp of the Bush administration will not exacerbate the situation.

Privatising profits and socializing costs: welcome to lemon socialism!

TWITS IN MCCAIN CAMP MISFIRE IN PALIN ATTACKS

Sarah Palin is or is not a rising star in Republican politics.

Can you as a party offer up someone dumber than W? You just might in 2012.

You will get behind this poor idiot because she passes your litmus tests, or you will not.

Nothing to the base is more important.

Palin 2012, just try and go for it! How will it feel to be smarter than the candidate?

Get real, or go down.

A NEW AGE NOW BEGINS

You want to have a dialogue with Obama.
And why should he want to have one with you?

You have marginalized yourselves into near inconsequence.

And Obama would have a dialogue with which wing of the Republican party? When you have a Republican party, then perhaps he might respond.

SPINNING THE LIGHT FANTASTIC

I am looking forward to how the Republicans will refashion themselves after this looming loss. Will they congeal around a Palin-esque fringe? Will they reveal another Contract with America? Will they offer a consistent vision of conservatism which has been trashed lately?

Since the Democrats may inherit deep, stinking piles of manure, there is a great rebuilding opportunity, but around what?
