I don't think Ann or your brother used hate speech. To me hate speech is Savage telling someone to die of aids because hes a "sodomite." Saying that the Duke boys deserved to be blamed for rape because they are underprivileged, where behaving badly or shouted racial epithets is like saying Ron and Nicole desrved to be killed because they cheated on OJ. its at least as irresponsible as Ann's comments

So your brother can say something that gets everyone lathered up, but when Ann Coulter does it, she needs to be fired and stifled... and we all need to write letters to editors requesting that her vile hatred never be aired on another network or server. I love the smell of hypocrisy in the morning.

Just because the Brits don't have an in your face with warships leader like Thatcher, doesn't mean they have gone lily livered on us. The whole thing has gone on for just 7 days. I think the Brits should set a deadline. Release the Marines with no conditions by a certain date or consider Iran at war with the UK and it's allies. Remember the good old days of Thatcher, she didn't tolerate the IRA or those Sean Finn thugs even after they tried to blow her up.

I agree that Coulter is vile. The last straw for me was when she attacked Kristen Brietweiser, a 911 widow.
I do disagree with you when you call to silence Ann. I say let her speak about her beliefs. Same thing goes for the crackpots on the left such as Bill Maher and Al Franken. I don't want to silence them. I support their right to spew whatever political belief they have, just so long as they truley believe what they are saying and not just trying to get a reaction and attention with shock value.
I wouldn't call or write HBO threatening to unsub if they don't pull real time with Bill Maher from their programming. If Maher has the guts to compare cheney to Hitler and lament the fact that he wasn't killed by the Taliban, then he should be free to do it. If theres an audience for Coulter and Maher's hate speech then theres not much anyone can do to stop it.

I don't think what Edwards does or who he hires matters because he has almost no chance of winning his party's nomination. If he was trying to gain the support of far out bloggers by hiring a kookoo for cocoapuffs woman, he certainly blew that last week when he told Russert that he would still have voted to remove Saddam.

I think your in for a suprise. The Bears D might be tough, but the Colts got through the Ravens in the playoffs and their defense is tougher. Chicago will hold the Colts to mostly feild goals but the Colts should prevail.
When it comes down to it, which QB would you want your team to have for a final 2 minute drill, Grossman or Manning? It seems like a no brainer to me.
