CHARLES JOHNSON'S WORLD

I have to agree with Rick on this. Charles Johnson is a cry baby and a hypocrite.

DOES THE WORLD LOVE US ANY MORE WITH OBAMA AS PRESIDENT?

I am not so sure that all that many people really like Obama, here or abroad. I think a lot of that is an invention by the same media that got him elected. In truth, I think they are laughing at him.

CONSPIRACY MONGERING, PARANOID TV HOST IS NO CONSERVATIVE

Beck said he would vote for Hillary. What sane conservative would say that? Is Hillary a small government person? Please. Beck is out for Beck..plain and simple. All this big government little government stuff is just a talking point with him.

I find the idea that Beck would think Hillary or Obama would be a better Commander in Chief than McCain to be insane, nuts and irresponsible.

Beck is on Mark Levin's bad side because he said that we would be worse off if McCain had won. That is right folks, after all this raving about how Obama wants to ruin the country Beck is saying he is better than McCain. Of course McCain would not bankrupt the country or turn tail and run from Afghanistan, but it seems Beck does not care about any of that.

Beck did not go after ACORN or Van Jones, not really. Rightie blogs did that, Beck just put it on his show because he knew all that would boost his ratings.

Beck is out for Beck. He hates Republicans as much or more than he hates Democrats....and he made that plain when he said Obama is better than McCain.

I will not watch his show anymore. I don't trust him.

TOP TEN THINGS THAT CREEP ME OUT ABOUT OBAMA

I had that same exact thought about the Invasion of the Body Snatchers. It is creepy, it really is. I did not like Hillary Clinton, but she did not give me the willies the way this guy does.

SADDAM'S DEATH: A SAD ENDING TO A SAD CHAPTER IN HISTORY

I agree with you. A little dignity would be nice.

THE DARK SIDE OF "TRADITIONAL VALUES"

VEry good post and people should remember that just picking verses out of the Koran using that as an excuse to hate all Muslims could backfire. I am a Christian, but there are scriptures in the Bible that might make Christians look intolerant or dangerous as well if taken out of context.

I know very well that Islamists are dangerous and I support the war on Terror, but people have to be careful about demonizing a billion people. It just makes them look paranoid.

A MOST GHOULISH DEBATE

Drongo:

Is hating Bush worth looking like an idiot? It appears so.

This is the same bunch of ninnies who accused the Clinton administration of killing 547,000 Iraqi children with sanctions. But then the invasion came and all of a sudden pre war Iraq was heaven on earth. According to them only half as many Iraqis died before the invasion as were dying in Europe at that time. Peaceful Europe with its good health care system.

Since this is excess deaths we are talking about they have to compare the death rate before the invasion with what they claim to be the death rate after. If I remember correctly they put the death at about 5.5 per 1000, which is half of Europe's. That right there makes the study bogus.

Why not just check the cemeteries? These people {if they existed at all} did not vanish. If that many died, at least a great many of them would have a record of burial.

What too mundane?

pos:

If this is just some neocon war on science, they they should not have any trouble proving their claims. After all scince is not just conjecture. It is based on fact, so where are the facts?

For instance, they say that 14% of the 655,000 people who died were killed by suicide bombers. That is over 91,000 people. That is their claim. Not mine. Now have any of the defenders of this survey ever seen anything that would back that up? I would say those victims were buried in Iraq and there would be death certificates for them and they would have families, so where are they? Who are they? Where and when were they killed? The survey offers no such eveidence. This is not science, this is propaganda.
