WE'RE GOING TO NEED THE PATIENCE OF JOB

I am almost through with the bargaining stage and am headed straight for depression.

The idea of voting for McCain makes me want to vomit. But I think I am going to have to do it for the war on terror and judicial appointments. My plan at the moment is to get drunk enough to do it without making myself incapacitated or let anyone know I am intoxicated - shouldn't take much since I rarely drink at all.

Either way though, I think I am going to be drinking Pepto Bismol for the next 4 years.

DELEGATE MATH DOESN'T ADD UP FOR ROMNEY

I have to go with what Steve has said.

McCain is going to lose in November - the only question is how badly.

THE OBESITY CRUSADE

When I first read about this I thought it was surely a parody from The Onion or some such site.

Unbelievable!

A SHORT BUT PITHY NOTE ON ACHIEVING THE RIPE OLD AGE OF 54

Happy Birthday!

I hope everything is running on time today. :)

And I am right there with you on the GOP and the stroke thing.

THE GOP COMES A'COURTIN'

I agree on all points.

At this point, I just don't want to see McCain get the nod. And Romney is the guy with the best shot right now in stopping him.

Otherwise I would just go into a state of denial for 4 years and wake up in time for 2012.

MY TURN TO MOURN FOR FRED (UPDATE: FRED OFFICIALLY OUT)

This is a tremendously huge loss for Republican and conservative voters in November.

NARROWING THE FIELD

What you may call being a crybaby, I call being principled.

John McCain does not represent conservative principles.

And there isn't a handful of difference between him and the Democrats.

If McCain is to win, he will have to do it without me. I will not vote for a Democrat either, but I can write in a vote for a true conservative.

I won't vote for Juan either. I can't say I will vote for either of the Dims. But I can use the write in option to cast a protest vote for a conservative.

Unlike the people of SC, I don't have amnesia. I remember John McLiar's record and I don't trust or respect him one bit more than I trust or respect the Democrats. So, all things being equal I won't vote for a man who filed as a Republican but has never behaved as a Republican. I'm sorry, I just cannot do that.

IT'S "THE FRED EFFECT"

Watching the meter on Fred's truck go up this past week is my new favorite thing to do.

Obviously it isn't too late at all.

Go Fred!

Honestly Fred! is the only one I will vote for in either the primary or the general election.

So, it really doesn't matter to me what the polls say.

Based on the differing results in all the states thus far, I would say that Fred! has as good a chance as any to be the candidate that breaks out. And judging by the surge in SC after that stellar debate performance last week I would say that the odds are increasing.
