MORE JAW DROPPING IDIOCY FROM THE TIMES
Bush may very well have operated in a gray area as the current laws predate the latest cell phone and computer technology. Had he tried to get the laws updated and amended Schumer and friends would have run screaming to the nearest microphone and given the game away.

How could you have left John Kerry off your list? How about a new magic hat? His current one must be a little moldy. Maybe a plaque for one of Tereyyza's mansions "I won the election before I lost it" should do nicely.

IRAQIS PREPARING TO GIVE THE FINGER TO DEAN AND THE DEMS
Nice piece Rick. There's always an upsurge in violence preceeding elections in Iraq, now the insurgents have the added incentive of swaying the weak kneed Dems even farther into moonbat territory. President Bush is finally getting his side of the story out. His recent speeches have all been during the day. By the time people get home from work and turn on the news the Dems and their media cohorts have already spun it. He needs to make some prime time addresses.

THE CIA VS. THE WHITE HOUSE: THE SPOOKS BLOW IT AGAIN
ed, you're right. It was a smart ass comment to an extremely serious subject. My only defense is that I had just finished reading an article about some speech Kerry made in a lame attempt to remain relevant. The one good thing about this is that, unlike some of the other instances Rick mentioned, the government is aware of the problem in Iran. What they'll do about it remains to be seen.

Looks like we'll have to send John Kerry over there to negotiate with the mullahs. By the time he gets done flip flopping and droning they'll have forgotten what their original intent was.

Congrats Rick, don't be so modest. You're one of the finest writers out there.

11/11/05: REMEMBERING AN HONORABLE MAN
My Dad was a gunner in B-24's during the war and I served in Southeas Asia. Veteran's Day doesn't impress me much. The kids all get the day off from school and the veterans go to work.

MORE SHAMELESS PURLOINING OF BLOG POST IDEAS
Polipundit's a daily read for me. Lorie Byrd usually has some interesting insights. Betsy's Page and Anchoress are good reads as well. Of course RWN is also a daily read.

Charles Krauthammer has an article today on the bird flu. I know you're one of the few blogs that's been staying on top of this along with Maggie's Farm. Seems researchers have been able to replicate the virus and thoughtfully published the "recipe". Osama's laughing in his cave.
