THE RICK MORAN SHOW WITH SPECIAL GUEST CLARICE FELDMAN

Bear:

Java script must be enabled to listen. Plus some firewalls don't like our stream for some reason.

We're working on a solution. Thanks for trying.

REDEFINING THE ALREADY DEFINED

Jacoby used a definition of chickenhawk accepted by everyone on the planet including Greenwald...Until today when Greenwald decided to "massage" the definition of the word in order to win an argument.

It has nothing to do with one definition being "better" than another. Greenwald simply redefined the term on his own in order to make a point that shut down the argument in his favor.

The Wikpedia thing was just symptomatic of the left hijacking language and meaning for their own purposes.

BDS GOES GLOBAL

You are correct although the Kennedy people thought Texas was the ballgame - lose it and probably lose the Presidency.

It's interesting what might have happened in a Kennedy-Goldwater race. Barry would have made substantial inroads in the south (he did anyway, coming close in 4 or 5 southern states even against Johnson). Kennedy would have been forced to go with the big state strategy - big union states in the NE and MW and hope to pick up some border states as well as the mid-atlantic.

It's pretty much Kerry's strategy from '04. And TX and OH would have been the ballgame for the Kennedys as well as Bush.

451:

You are correct...about one incident. That was printed in the Dallas News a few weeks after the assassination along with the explanation you gave.

Manchester interviewed another teacher who in fact confirmed that it happened in her class, that they erupted in applause when hearing the news over the loudspeaker. In addition, there were several high school classes where the same reaction occurred.

ANTI-SEMITISM ON THE LEFT

CP:

Sadly, I must agree with your conclusion.

SS:

What we ALL tend to forget is that Hizbullah has been firing rockets into Israel for months with no response from the Israelis. This inconvenient fact gets left out a lot of critiques of Israels war policy.

A LAZY FRIDAY AFTERNOON MILLENNIAL INTERLUDE

Darwin and Freud were left off the list because while people built substatially on their original ideas, they've fallen out of favor in the last couple of decades as new discoveries in brain chemistry and evolutionary biology have have superceded their original work.

SITE DOWN - WORLD ALMOST ENDS

The universe? Or Greenwald?

Maybe I should have said Greenwald is still spinning counterclockwise and the universe is still a douchebag.

LEBANON'S AGONY

Chris:

Well said. In fact, the reason I wrote the article in the first place was a disturbing lack of understanding I detected regarding Lebanon's impossible situation. About 70% of the people desperately working for democracy with the others having another agenda.

In the end, Israel is solving Lebanon's problems for them - and creating a bushelful more.

STILL MISSING THE BIG ONE

Andy:

Your points, as usual are made reasonably and filled with much truth.

I won't dispute your major points - but I will say that 5 years after 9/11, one would think that some of the problems you mentioned could have been addressed. No coverage in Bekaa where many of these missiles were flown? No infiltration of Syrian intelligence? Those greedy bastards were stealing money from the Lebanese hand over fist.

My point is that it seems to be business as usual - no one willing to change so that problems such as you mentioned can be attacked from a different direction. This is the culture that many have commented on, including the 9/11 commission.

But you're probably right about the politics - although that too I think you're much too sanguine about.
