And what do you think the backlash would have been from the right? The howls of rage at the Times for leaking classified data to influence an election may have shaken that august institution to its knees. I daresay even other MSM outlets would have criticized them seveverly.

And I certainly hope that your speculation about Palmer is a rumor. I speculated last year that with Jack probably in Europe (or maybe the mid east?), Palmer would be perfectly positioned to act as go between with CTU - and a guy that could open a lot of doors for Jack he might otherwise find closed.

Actually, since Pajamas Media is going to put a Fox "24" ad on my site, they told me under penalty of death that I have to promote the show.

I considered adding ABTF to the list for all the reasons you state. A great march in the tradition of Col. Bogey as well as some achingly beautiful scoring during the lulls in battle.
