APPALLING DISHONESTY FROM OLBERMAN

Clinton should go back to putting cigars inside women and stay off television, it makes him, his party, and his wifes presidential aspirations look very dim witted.

An opinion which is quite valid to hold.

But not one I share.

I want see much more of Bill Clinton asking hard questions about the Bush policies and achievements.

Like the asking what Bush plans to do about an state of abysmal military readiness.

I want to know why troops are training in the forest for a desert deployment. About why we are so short of men and material that there isn't time to send troops to train in California so as to better protect them in Iraq.

Don't you?

Umm just hysterical.

BTW, I hear the poppy crop in Afghanistan is the largest in history funding our enemies, and that the Taliban are now engaging in stand up fights with the coalition forces.

I know there was this pressing matter of sending troops to Iraq back in 2003, but shouldn't we have gained control of the country taht attacked us on 9/11 first?

Because now that we are extending tours and sending soldiers back into battle less than 12 months after coming home I am getting a little converned that the commander in chief might not know what the hell he is doing.

Sort of the point Olbermann was making. But maybe you can shed some light on why he is wrong.

Something more constructive than making fun of his name. Less fun perhaps, but maybe more useful.

Leftist/Liberals/Democrats/Nutbags/Richard Bottoms of the world, that actually, it was a waste of time!

Are you planning on adressing the lack of military preparedness anytime soon?

Because I'd sure like an explaination of why, if we are fighting a war on par with taking on Hitler, what reason is it that my Army doesn't have the tools to train with?

Allah is waiting for Olberman to go completely off the rails and start spouting 9/11 conspiracy theories.

Why?

No conspiracies here. Just fact that our Army is being degraded and two wars are in jeopardy of being lost.

The pressures that the conflict in Iraq is putting on the Army are apparent amid the towering pine trees of southeast Georgia, where the Third Infantry Division is preparing for the likelihood that it will go back to Iraq for a third tour.

Col. Tom James, who commands the division’s Second Brigade, acknowledged that his unit’s equipment levels had fallen so low that it now had no tanks or other armored vehicles to use in training and that his soldiers were rated as largely untrained in attack and defense.

Normally, armored units preparing for Iraq are sent to Fort Irwin, Calif., for such training, but transporting a brigade’s worth of equipment and soldiers there takes a month, which the schedule would not permit.

So the trainers and Arabic-speaking role players, who will simulate conditions the unit is likely to encounter in Iraq, were brought here to conduct the three-week exercise in a Georgia pine forest, rather than in the California desert.

Making do

It is George Bush who is responsible for making a mess out our response to 9/11.

You know writing in all capital letters is often taken as a sign of... derangement.

>I’M NOT A DEMOCRAT, BECAUSE I WAS IN THE MARINE >CORPS FOR 12 YEARS

And I was in the Army for 13 years and tried to re-enlist two years ago. Snap.

>DRINKING YOUR BEER YOU BOUGHT WITH FOODSTAMPS, >SMOKING YOUR CIGARETTES YOU BOUGHT WITH YOUR >WELFARE CHECK

Dude I made more money in the last five years then my Dad did in his entire life. My $500,000 condo has a wonderful view of the yacht club and I pay more in taxes than some people ear. I think capitalism is just peachy.

I am not a Republican and never will be because of people like Senator "Macaca" Allen and you.

BTW, we'll see just who did get reamed November 8th won't we.

>Who’s this “Dick Ass” guy? Sorry, I meant >“Richard Bottoms”.

Gosh, I'm so offended that someone implied I might a homosexual because of my name. Please end my life "sob".

BTW, I live in San Francisco and while I'm not gay, I wouldn't care if I was. But it does seem to be something of an issue with Republicans.

So if fag hating is what you think you need to do to be the "so-called" party of ideas, have at it.

>Are they (ABC, Mike Wallace) also tools of the Republican party?

He doesn't work at ABC anymore.

Certainly he's not the first child to do something that irritates/embarasses his dad.

I am tired of a Democrat standing up for himself being characterized as a meltdown/becoming unhinged/psychotic. Meanwhile Ann Coulter talks about poisoning a Justice of the Supreme Court and that's that a little hyperbole for the masses.

So Clinton got mad. Good for him, I'd like to see more Democrats tell folks on Fox to stick it where the sun don't shine. This idea that we'll turn off the moderates and maybe keep some Republicans for supporting is a a load of BS.

If you aren't done with the Republicans by now, nothing is going to change your mind.

Not an Army that is being ground into disrepair and unreadiness, not the teetering loss of Iraq, and not the fact that Afghanistan is in serious trouble all due to boy wonder's failed leadership.

I am a Democrat becasue my party doesn't stand for tortue and theirs does.

I am a Democrat because I believe the world is older than 10,000 years and that teaching otherwise belongs in church, not in school.

I am a Democrat because what is good for big business is not automatically good for the little people.

I am a Demcorat because letting the FDA hold up contraceptives over religion is stupid.

I am a Democrat because Teri Schiavo was brain dead and the yahoos in the other party diagnosed from the Senate floor.

I am a Democrat because I was a soldier and I see the so-called freedom loving Republicans sending troops on 4 & 5 rotations into battle while not bothering to find the nearest recruiting station and lending a hand.

In short I am a Democrat just like the Big Dog and I sincerley enjoy him talking a rhetorical bat to the other side.

>clinton made an utter fool out of himself

He did, only if you don't like him. If you do like him, he kicked butt. The Clinton haters think the rest of the public should be as angry as they are everytime Bill opens his mouth.

Sorry, I happen to think Bill Clinton is the man and certainly communicates better than El Presidente.

Why is it you guys are incapable of conceeding the fact that Fox is biased to the right? Does it negate every negative thing about Bill Clinton, and even we who love him think there are a number of negative things, to acknowledge reality?

Seems another prominent Republican has a similar problem. Unfortunately he's the commander of all the armed forces.
