WHAT PLANET HAS OBAMA BEEN VISITING THE LAST YEAR?

Rick, great post as always. I'm to the right of center and becoming a libertarian since the GOP has become the Democrat-Lite party of only slightly smaller government. I don't know how you suffer idiot koolaid drinkers on both fringes, like reynolds. Its futile in the extreme to engage far left morons like reynolds. His post betrays his lack of intellect and is but another pathetic example that the Left has nothing but a singular ability to attack and belittle people who they disagree with. Reynolds and his ilk need to loosen their tinfoil hats, up their meds, change their diapers and put the bottle of vodka away.

THE ANTI-REASON CONSERVATIVES

Reason60,

I agree with your point of view. Well said.

MR,

Nice adhereance to talking points. Gotta give you props for sticking to original thought....NOT

Stupid

MR, you forgot to mention Reagan.

Yeah us stupid people love simplicity. Ain't that concept grand? Like for example: Low taxes, strong miltary, no abortion, no gay marriages, holy trinity.

Stick with your Gray Matter, sir. I'll take simple anyday.

Stupid

As most on the right tend to do, you confuse "issues" with "philosophy." It's why I get into trouble with you troglodytes. There is no conservative "principle" that enjoins support for "low taxes." None. Zero. Zilch.

I happen to favor low taxes for practical, pragmatic reasons. But to make that a litmus test for conservatism only reveals your ignorance.

Rick,

Thanks for your response. Glad to prove your point.

My point remains the same: the middle ground is for lazy people. Like Mr. Miagi said: "walk down left side of road, ok; walk down right side of road, ok; walk down middle of road....SPLAT!" Keep painting them lines, baby.

Rick,

I bet you are the guy who paints the yellow lines right down the middle of the road. Your essay?? YAWN.

Thank you for proving my point so spectacularly. You simply don't have the smarts - or perhaps the subtlety - to believe that anyone who disagrees with your own narrow, rigid, excessively ideological definition of conservatism could possibly be anything but a "moderate" or a "liberal." It simply is beyond your capacity to see that people can share the same principles while having minor disagreements about issues.

PALIN RETREATS

Every serious candidate for president should sit down and watch the 1964 movie "Best Man". American politics ain't pretty.

MICHAEL JACKSON, WORLD FAMOUS PEDOPHILE, DEAD AT 50

With a nod to Occam's razor:

Jackson had all that surgery perform so as not to end up looking like the man he dispised as a child...his father.

Jackson, being the smallest and youngest was probally molested by his siblings, perpetuating his deviant behavior later as an adult.

Jackson paid out over 20 million to his young accuser because he was guilty.

Jackson did all that charity work in a misguided attempt to buy his way into heaven.

Jackson was addicted to drugs, surgery and attention by the media and his fans.

As much as I too enjoyed his earlier performances...he was no Sammy Davis Junior.

As to what broke the camel back for me was when the U.S. House of Representatives stopped doing the "business of the people" to honor this disturbed but talented man.

OBAMA'S SPEECH: NOT BAD AT ALL

Only Marxists and Democrats will remember Obama's speech. Everyone will remember Palin. Energy is "the" issue this year and Palin has it wrapped.
Remember, internal polls always end up with about 60+% of the folks in the country being conservative - McCain's pick put that on center and will highlight in stark contrast, the difference between the real deal and just another Dem running a stealth campaign pretending to be Reagan.
Oh by the way, what was it that Obama talked about Thursday?

ON BEING CALLED A 'RACIST'

The irony is that the charge itself is racist.

You are being accused of racism simply because Obama is black and you are (I can only assume) white. If you were black or Obama white then writing exactly the same words would not be assumed racist by Obamaniacs. More tellingly if you were black AND Obama was white they would not. Therefore the people charging you with racism are using race as a criterion for deciding how to attack your posts. They are then racist.
