I would condemn the ad as untrue. I would also point out you are incorrect when you say "there has never been a recorded instance of any hospital worker refusing to give the morning after pill to a rape victim if it was requested." Look up the California case of Brownfield vs. Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital.

They want Michelle Malkin and Glenn Beck. True believers and fanatics only. Just read the comment by David above. He says Newt Gingrich is a liberal and should be run out of the party, and he followed that up with a dose of standard Reagan worship, though he clearly doesn't have clue as to many things that happened during Reagan's presidency. That's your base these days.

Go back and check out the things Woodrow Wilson did once the U.S. entered W.W. I. The papers didn't even report on the massive Spanish flu pandemic so as not to hurt morale. Critics, including a U.S. Congressman, were sentenced to long prison terms for sedition. What passes for tough tactics today are nothing.
Obama takes a couple shots at a network that has been trashing him non-stop for over a year now. So what?

I think this is true. I also think these are folks who have mocked and smeared the other side for decades, accusing them of being "sick", "counter culture" and lots of other words that Newt Gingrich even compiled into a list of handy words to use.
That's the way it goes. If you dish it out maybe your should be ready to take it, too.

POST HOC CRITICISM OF OBAMA TRIP JUSTIFIED
If trying and failing to secure the Olympics for Chicago makes Obama looks bad, the explosion of cheering his (and our) loss by right-wingers makes them look even worse.
Sane Americans are not cheering that America didn't land the Olympic games.
I agree with that. I am not cheering that Chicago lost. But I am relieved given that the amount of money that would have been wasted through fraud and chicanery would have been astronomical. It is unseemly, this celebration by the right. There are plenty of reasons to oppose Chicago getting the Olympics without hoping for failure by Obama.
