You mean a decorated war veteran presidential candidate, along with all wounded servicemen and women are mocked by Republican Presidential Convention attendees wearing little band aids with purple hearts on them?
Or, as always for Conservatives, was that DIFFERENT?

Please explain to me how they are any different from the rest of Conservatism: Those who so easily apply the label of "Treason" (a crime that carries the death penalty) to anyone who ever dared to state their belief that George W. Bush is incompetent.

NEWT'S PECCADILLOS: POLITICAL AND PRIVATE
Of course, those who will split hairs to excuse Newt's affaris on both of his former wives will have to come up with another excuse for "Deadbeat Dad" Newt's failure to pay Child Support, forcing his first ex-wife to take a collection from her church to stay in her house.
But I'm sure the "Family Values" Republican party will have an alibi for that one as well.
