KERRY: AS COLD AS THEY COME

Let's take a look at the facts ..

"it turns out that their grades while undergraduate students at Yale were remarkably similar. In fact, Bush's were a tad higher. His four-year average was 77; Kerry's 76. Both were C students."

John Kerry, C student @76, goes to Vietnam. George Bush, C student @77, flies planes in TX.

There it is for all to see. You get 77 or above, you can be President; 76 or less, even you billionaire wife can't buy you the Presidency. You need at least a 77 point average or you're crap.

KENNEDY AND OTHER LIBERALS ANSWER TO A DIFFERENT MORALITY

We should thank larry for his lesson in spin.

Obviously, larry missed the part about Ted trying to do the same thing with Jimmy Carter that he later repeated with Ron Reagan. In the case of Carter though, Ted was vying for the Presidency at the time so perhaps he just wanted an "October Surprise."

The Kennedy-Tunney overture, mentioned in the memo, was just two months after Reagan’s Evil Empire Speech. Kennedy and Tunney allegedly wanted to help Andropov in a public relations campaign to make Reagan look like a warmonger -- all in time for the 1984 election.

It does show a cynicism toward the electoral system and the Constitution that Ted has sworn every two years to uphold, that he would enlist the aid of a foreign power. A foreign power that had sworn to "bury us." Kennedy is guilty of the appallingly worst judgment in human history.

This may not be treason, but it is rank opportunism. What some would call .. working for special interests .. his own, Tunney and the Soviet Union.

CNN SEES NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN US AND TERRORISTS

The Department of Justice is investigating whether Rep. Jane Harman and the pro-Israel group worked together to get her reappointed as the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee

In 1983 .. Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) offered to assist Soviet leaders in formulating a public relations strategy to counter President Reagan's foreign policy and to complicate his re-election efforts.

Kennedy didn't see any difference between the U.S. and the Soviet Union.

A LIBERAL MANIFESTO AND OTHER HALLOWEEN FRIGHTS

Somewhere between Aldous Huxley's A Brave New World and George Orwell's 1984 lies Google NetPAC.

Now try to imagine every search for information you make going through "Big Brother" .. er .. a major business awash with cash with a political action committee.

GOLDBERG ON TORTURE: SOPHISTRY ON A STICK

The other night on "the Unit" they mentioned the idea of "chipping" prisoners.

Suppose you "chipped" 2000 or so prisoners, some of which might know or know where to find out where your worst enemy was hiding. Then you proposed a prisoner swap or truce/amnesty where this 2000 or so were released. You allow them to be released. Now you start tracking them.

What do you think are the odds that you can find your worst enemy ?
How long do you think the releasees will live if your worst enemy finds out that they were chipped ?
Is any of this torture ?

APPALLING DISHONESTY FROM OLBERMAN

I took MSNBC off my TVs when Olberman called Chris Wallace a monkey.

I don't have to listen to this kind of intelectual tripe from any kind of media outlet whether it be owned by Bill Gates, Ahmadinejad or Sun Myung Moon.

MSNBC is no longer welcome in my home.

BEWARE OF THE DRAFT AND OTHER OCTOBER SURPRISES

A special point on the "military draft" issue.

When the draft came up a few years back with the Rangel (House) and Hollings (Senate) bills, I learned a very special lesson. Nobody reads these bills except perhaps me.

When this issue came up I decided to actually read them. What I found was that they were not "twin bills." For some reason the House bill (HR.163), the one that came to the House floor for a vote, refereed to "active and reverse component" of the military, while the Senate bill (S.89) used "active and reserve component" of the military. This "reverse" mistake occurred four times in the House document, still available at thomas.loc.gov .

The overall point, there hasn't been a credible threat of a draft even introduced into the House and Senate during the entire span of the Bush 43 administration, let alone an actual draft.
