LEFT DOESN'T HAVE A CLUE HOW TO SMEAR SOMEONE

Actually, I don't know, and don't care if #3 is true.

So McCain is being criticized for yellow teeth? And war injuries?

Well, you know he’s bald too, with a really bad comb-over.

Turnabout is fair play, so I present to you the top 10 inspired smears on the Obamas:

10. Barry is a Muslim
9. Barry is a closet America-hater
8. BHO is a former drug user
7. BHO is a current drug user
6. BHO is a closet smoker
5. BHO is a homosexual on the “down-low”
4. BHO was actually born in Kenya (which nixes his presidential aspirations)
3. BHO has a small penis
2. Michelle Obama has massively wide hips (she’s still pretty hot, though)

And the number one inspired smear against the Obama’s, which is sure to drive the MSM insane:

1. The Obamas are niggardly (did you see their charitable contributions in 2002- $1000 charity on $260K in AGI; I gave more on less income, and I'm pretty cheap).

BTW, four of these (1, 2, 6, and 8) are actually true.

IT'S GETTING CROWDED UNDER OBAMA'S BUS

Reynolds believes that the fact that McCain is so well known and Obama not, is a disadvantage to McCain. For some reason, he believes that as the masses learn more and more about Obama, the 2 point lead he has now will grow.

I believe the opposite. Nobody is going to be surprised by McCain- he is a well-known entity. On the other hand, as we trek towards November, the masses will come to know Obama better. I predict this familiarity with his associations and judgment will make it a very close race. I'm not sure it will be enough, though.

SAY IT AIN'T SO, DAVID STERN

And probably the most rife with steroid abuse.

Thinking out loud: I wonder what makes a "dunk" so spectacular? Anybody that can jump 30" high can do it, provided their hands are big enough- and that includes 99% of all the thugs in the NBA.

On the other hand, picking up the speed and trajectory of a circular missle travelling 92 mph (withing inches of your head), and crushing the living shit out of it with a wooden stick... now THAT is spectacular.

In my humble opinion (and yes, I know that many disagree), baseball requires the most talent of all the 3 major US sports. The combination of hand-eye coordination, arm strength, base running, instant decision making, etc. makes it the most demanding. Unfortunately, it is also the slowest and most boring.

Thankfully, I stopped watching NBA basketball 10 years ago. The league is filled with thugs, gangsters and otherwise dispicable characters. Why should the officiating, or for that matter, the front office be any different?

I would love to see an analysis of the rap sheets for the players in the various sports. If I were a betting man, and I am not, I would bet that the NBA has more arrests than either MLB or the NFL- and they have a much smaller roster.

I've started watching polo- now there's a sport where there are very few felons. For those of you that don't really like the ponys, there is always curling, fencing, and ice skating (now that Tonya Harding has retired).

PREPARING FOR AN OBAMA PRESIDENCY

Buzzard,

Do you REALLY believe Obama is about unity? Name one truly bipartisan issue that he has been willing to compromise on- what, none? Do you really believe he cares? Ask his political mentor, that he backstabbed in his first run at the IL state legislature, ask his white granny, even ask his spiritual mentor that he threw under the bus (after first saying that he could no more disown him than he could the black community). Fair and balanced? Ask Jack Ryan, who Obama's surrogates sued to have his private divorce records released to the media in the runup to the Senatorial election in 2004.

If you want to worship your candidate, go ahead, but don't delude yourself into believing that he is any different than the worst sort of classical Chicago politician. I personally think its sad and pathetic. Does a thrill go up your leg when he speaks?

Don't buy a distillery- the messiah will slap a windfall tax on you faster than you can say "three fingers, no ice". I do hear that he's partial to crack, at least he used to be, so maybe start growing some cocoa trees. The goverment can't tax what ain't legal.

ENEMIES OF AMERICA! BE OF GOOD CHEER - HOPE IS ON THE WAY!

Rick, what policy checks and balances exist to prevent an Obama unilateral betrayal of Israel? It's not fair to use "Bush's war" in Iraq as an excuse... congress, for all their whining about the unjust war, was nearly unanimous in their complicity for that war.

COULD Congress stop such a betrayal? And with a filibuster-proof Democratic majority, WOULD they stop it?

A WORD ABOUT COURAGE

Thank you, Rick. That was a beautiful tribute to true Americans and to true courage. And I will forever forth try to not trivialize the meaning of that word.
