The irony of a allegedly right-wing blog suggesting a(nother) government program, however tongue-in-cheek, is not lost on the real conservatives that are still out here. Of course, a goverment program would be how the current Administration would propose to fix the problem, I'm sure.
And the disdain you show for the silly American/NATO actions in Boznia and the like under Clinton is shared by a lot of true conservatives with respect to Iraq. Where is America's interest there, save in some pie-in-the-sky Wilsonian nation-building (the most liberal of all government activities) quest?
Democrats are inconsequential. I'd prefer that the 'Pubs face their own faults head on, and halt their seemingly inexorable slide to the liberal left.

There wasn't anything new really except for Bush saying about katrina than mentioning Aids and saying it was mostly suffered by "African Americans."
The arrest than appology of Sheehan and the removal of the Repub from FL's wife was classy too.
I think it would be weird to think Dems would suddenly stand up and applaud this BS.

The NYT is comprised of pompous, arrogant, self-centered, pseudoaristocrats who believe they should govern because they are superior beings. They abhor democracy and crave a socialist state run by people of their ilk. The newspaper panders to Democrats, Liberals, Socialists, Bolsheviks and fellow travelers that comprise the pseudointellectuals of the Left. The Lefties form the core of their readership and display the same character traits ingrained in the horrid individuals who work at the NYT.

I also submit that the Dems/Libs are using the NSA kerfuffle to misdirect the old media attention away from the fact that most factions in Iraq are now discussing how to form a government. With regard to the above mentioned Agreement we must not forget the dictum: "The End Justifies The Means". Craig Crawford was employed by Congressional Quarterly and the following quote is from a press release on their website regarding the aforementioned Mr. Crawford: "Before becoming a journalist, he served in 1984 as the Alabama State Field Director for the John Glenn presidential primary campaign, and the Georgia State Field Director for the Mondale/Ferraro general election campaign." With a pedigree like that you know he is a raving moonbat whackjob. How do these Bolsheviks get away with calling themselves "journalists" when they are clearly shills for the Democratic Party? I just meant before that I think Capital punishement makes the state just as bad. I appologize to those I offended. It is terrible that he killed 4 people, he should never be let out of prison.
However, death is death, does it matter who administers it?
