You don't sound the least bit hysterical to me Rick. It is amnesty through and through, not to mention that even the halved length of border fence will never be built.
The ruling class in Mexico is sipping champagne and toking on Cuban cigars tonight, but quietly until the votes are cast and the bill signed by the Pres, perhaps in a signing ceremony in a border town?

Given how many good (and great) posts you've made on a wide variety of subjects over multiple years (click any archive over to the left and you'll not have to scroll far, if at all, to find worthwhile commentary), it truly is their loss if they abandon you over a single post they disagree with.
It speaks more to their shallowness of thought than to your objective points of view Rick.

Rick, I've been writing multiple long responses, then deleting them for lack of will, as we seem to have no purpose anymore here in the USA.
That lack of purpose is exactly what Bin Laden meant, we Americans simply don't have the stomach to fight a war, any war, at any time for any reason, because we've lost our reason for being.
I mean, sheesh, if we're such wimps as to call it a lost cause after so short a time, with so low a loss of troops (regardless of the inevitable mistakes made) then we deserve to march on over to the soon to be installed foot-washing stations in Minnesota and take our medicine like good little sheep.
It's a sad day indeed for the free world, when the USA cannot garner enough courage to beat down a small bunch of insurgents that defile our (and all peoples) values on a daily basis with beheadings and suicide bombings, in support of the people we purported to be in it to save from the get go.
The Iraqis yearning for freedome were not pleased when we screwed them the last time, and they will not be amused in the least when we stick it to them again -- and we will not survive unscathed this time, we will truly have shown ourselves to be the weak horse that we are.
Ugh, I apologize in advance to our children.

I can't speak for them Tano, but if the Reps are off on a junket to Syria against the wishes of the administration, then for me, yes the same commentary applies.
I'm truly afraid of what it will take for the "535" to get serious -- if it's even possible for them to do so.

Ronin, Yes, but my point was that Martha is in cahoots with Logan for some future nefarious purpose. I'm forwarding the opinion that the knifing was staged from the get-go.
Now it may turn out that Martha is using him from another angle that he's not aware of, but either way I'm certain that next hour will have a black SUV swooping down upon the ambulance (that stopped so both EMTs could work on him) and wisking Logan away...

I suspect not only that (he probably pulled the monitor leads off), but also that his wound is superficial and Martha is in on some plot with him.
