We can look in the mirror all we want but that is not going to change the fact that this country has been failing for the past twenty-five years because we have been lazy and uneducated to the truth. The next time we close the voting booth we have to make sure the the vote counts. We need a paper trail that we can go back to if any questions about the legitimacy of the election arise. I personally feel that for the past 25 years many of our elected officials have not been "elected" but "selected" by the powers that be (large corporations). Look at our current elected officials today how many of them come from the working class or the poor? They all have corporate backing. Until America finally wakes up and demands accountability at the voting booth, there will be no further accountability at any level. People are not aware of what's going on because the big corporate media has been spoon feeding all of us with what they want us to know. It's only a few of us who know what's going on and when we express ourselves, we have no credibility because the media does'nt back us up. I don't know what it will take to wake America up to the reality of what is really going on. I am afraid when they finally do it will be too late.
