MORE ON THE HONDURAN 'MILITARY IMPEACHMENT'

Maybe Obama is trying to set the stage for his own "referendum" at the end of his term. If he can make it sound legit in Honduras, why not here?

THE SANTELLI RANT: A RED BULL RUSH

MORE ON THOSE "ANGRY, RACIST GOP MOBS"

I have been undecided until now.

But a man who I deeply respected named John Lewis played the same pre-South Carolina race card that Jesse Jackson Jr did, in the primary, against the Clintons.

It is truly , truly offensive.

I will be voting for John McCain, (lifetime Democrat here) because comments like Lewis made, diminish ALL of us.

"Violence in the streets" if Obama doesn't win, like Brazille and Carville said on CNN?

So be it.

OBAMA FLUBS HAMAS, HIZBULLAH MULLIGAN

So Rick, what do you really think of Obama?

ONLY A REPUBLICAN COULD BE SO STUPID...

Redneck Congressmen should learn what their constituencies want and dont want. And they should know what their constituencies don't respect.

That guy is an idiot. No one calls a Black man boy these days.

and when people call Bush "Boy" believe me it is rarely endearment

THE ROAD TO NOWHERE II

Rick -

I will miss your Tuesday morning updates. Can't you just keep going by making stuff up about what escapades Jack is up to in hours 25, 26, 27, etc?

I predict next season Jack and the gang will be more rogue, i.e. special contractors hired by the government to do things the government can't legally do. Kind of like the Impossible Mission Force without the glamor of Barbara Bain. And Chloe no doubt will be paying alot of overtime daycare costs.

Anyway, good job Rick! I look forward to next season!

SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS

I'd like to get the name of Martha's loony bin so that I can spend my next vacation there. Considering the number of wine glasses hanging from the cabinet in the kitchen, alcohol consumption must be a recommended component of treatment. And the visitors are so relaxed that on the day a nuke goes off they manage to get in a game of tennis! That's my kind of institution!

SPINNING THE LIGHT FANTASTIC

Brilliant! I especially applaud you for addressing the insulting and disparaging comments made in regard to David Cunningham's faith. How have we come to the place where those who have a belief in God are viewed as seditious and of evil, malicious intent?! It would appear that in Max Blumenthal's dictionary God and Faith are four letter words.I saw The Path to 911 tonight and thought it was absolutely powerful and so masterfully done.It was intense, riveting and compelling. It was also artistic, culturally sensitive and authentic in its realism. But what I most appreciated was the way it drew together the complicated threads involved in the plotting of 911 and gave me a much deeper grasp and understanding of the struggle we are involved in. Bravo! Everyone should see it.

ANN COULTER: CONSERVATIVE LOUT

Mavent is my new hero. She is the voice of what America once was and hopefully one day will be again.

Hypocrisy is deadly, because at heart it is all about lying to oneself and to others. Mavent has very clearly delineated why we need to ALL put aside our rhetoric and and admit that all of us need to admit that ALL of us are in some way culpable of the sorry state of affairs which exists in this nation today. In a true democracy it is "The People" who are ultimately answerable. To blame ones fellow citizen is to engage in the childish game of playing the politics of blame and victimization - and from my perspective, both sides (parties) are equally culpable in this regard. We have become a nation of spoiled children.

One more thing. As an actively practicing Christian, I take enourmous offence of Coulter's "definition" of Christianity. For example, I noticed in the first chapter of her book that she does not mention the name of Jesus once. Not one single time. Nor does she quote on single scriptural passage to justify her insane assertions as to what Christianity is.

THE TIMES: ELECTIONS DON'T MATTER

The reality is that the NYT hasn't published a legitimate editorial in a long time. They are reduced to unhinged, shreiking screeds like today's. As usual, the root of the problem lies in the fact that Pinchette Sulzberger is running this nuthouse (Pardon, Rick), and hires everyone based on his personal notions of 'diversity' (ie., people who think like he does). Therefore we have an editorial page run by the shrill, lightweight leftist Gail Collins, whose previous claim to international fame was as a mediocre Metro columnist for the New York Daily News. They live in a bubble and have no idea of how out of touch and despised they are.
