HOW DYSFUNCTIONAL IS OUR GOVERNMENT?
Vice president of the US is a legislative not an executive office and only serves a ceremonial role in the Executive,he presides over the Senate and has the tie breaking vote.From the Senates own website:

vice president - Under the Constitution, the Vice President serves as President of the Senate. He may vote in the Senate in the case of a tie, but is not required to. The President Pro Tempore (and others designated by him) usually perform these duties during the Vice President's frequent absences from the Senate.
And for Mothers Day he will lambast the women with the morals of an alley cat that pop out children with no clue who the father is.I was under the obviously misguided idea Fathers Day and Mothers Day were days to celebrate those that have chosen to raise the next generation but I'm just a right wing wacko that doesn't know a day of honor is a great day to ignore those that deserve praise.

POLL: AMERICA IS A SUCKY PLACE TO LIVE RIGHT NOW
Wrong track could meam anything and those that disapprove of President Bush do so for different reasons.I think we need to be more robust in dealing with foreign nations which is quite the opposite of liberal thought,I disapprove of the POTUSs lackluster response to an attack on our homeland and would have approved of a nuclear response,I lost my hopes for this CinC soon into his first term after he allowed the Chinese to hold US airmen for weeks then offered an "apology" for their wong wei pilot ramming our aircraft in international airspace,different perspective and same response to a question that is interpreted as meaning "WE SURRENDER" to the obtuse.
