IS ALL THE ECONOMIC DOOM AND GLOOM JUSTIFIED?
How can Obama and Co. get their marxist agenda on the fast track? With gloom and Doom and fear. The media would normally have told us by now that things were looking up now that we got rid of the Republican and will be great starting Jan 20,'09. However, if things are looking terrible, and only "bold" actions by BO can save us, it gives the new socialists an opportunity to fast track their agenda. Therefore, the media continues to beat the drums of fear.

The so-called "good" points of this bill such as the Zorro Visa, pay $5,000 fine, go back to home country, etc are NOT going to work. Why a Z visa? How about a visa from their home country? They will never pay $5,000, or at least we'll never collect, and do you think an illegal is going home and not coming back with 6 relatives? The whole thing is just a hope and a promise that will result in an additional influx of at least 30 milion high school drop outs who will cost us $trillions over the next 10 to 20 years. If this is the best we can do, the Country is toast.

If this proposal passes and is implemeted it will assure that the Republican party will never again gain power (which is why Kennedy is so supportive of it). One third of the population in the US is now "minorities". If this proposal is approved, 50% of the country will be minority within 5 years and most of them vote Democrat, so good-bye GOP. The US will become an entitlement socialist country with even more income re-distribution and confiscation of property to give to the "needy". Not only that, but Spanish could become the official language since the "hard-working immigrants" don't want to learn English (and don't need to). In other words, a problem will soon become a disaster for those of us who want to keep the country. Force the law breaking immigrants to come here legally and become citizens the same way our forefathers did.

Black Sambo", and listening to the "Amos and Andy Show" on radio. Both were long ago banned because of stereotyping or racism, or something even though I didn't see anything offensive about them. Seems to me that some in our society have become way too sensitive.
Used to have terms such as "colored people" or "negro", can't say them now and "blacks" has evolved into "African American" even though most are not from Africa. Of course the warlords of race don't want to stop being offended because that is how they derive their power and influence.

Hillary, as with most Dems does not believe in individuals, but groups, and in this case, pandering to blacks as a voting block. She believes government should decide what is best for you and everyone else. A good illustration of this thinking was displayed in a speech she gave following Exxon's announced record profits in Feb, '07:

"I want to take those profits and put them into an alternative energy fund that will begin to fund alternative smart energy alternatives that will actually begin to move us toward the direction of independence." She wants to take profits from a private corp, and spend them the way she thinks best.
If/when she gets the White House, get ready for much more Gov't, less private/individual control of your money and life.
