WHEN MARMOSETS ATTACK

What is it, exactly, that has the left in a froth over Marcotte, anyway?

I understand their need to defend the rights of puerile, mediocre bloggers (otherwise, what are they left with?) but this is getting ridiculous.

WE'LL BE BACK

I have to agree with Arthur - the defense would not have been put in a position of having to win the game if the offense could have moved the ball for some first downs.

The entire gameplan should have revolved around keeping the ball out of Manning's hands, by effectively running the ball.

Rex Grossman lost this game for the Bears - he couldn't even hold onto a snap, let alone get the ball to Jones or pass for a completion.

GAME ON!

It's been a while since I have seen a team that squeezes as much out of special teams as do the Bears. Maynard was an unsung hero of the championship game.

If the special teams (and Sexy Rexy) show up, Bears win.

ANTI-WAR PROTEST: WHERE IS EVERYONE?

I am not one to pick on spelling or grammar errors (but for the grace of God go I) but that one was, indeed, too precious to pass up.

Rick, you called the chickendoves 'rank cowards', but I prefer the term 'poseur'. A coward is one who realizes the gravity of a situation and cowers in the face of it. A poseur is one who does not even believe in what they are advocating. The anti-war types who are allowed to march, organize and blog must be intelegent enough to see that there is in fact no fascist state in the U.S.

How many mass demonstrations took place against the Third Reich, after all?

Oh yeah Dennis, you sure are INTELEGENT!

MY BELOVEDS: BOUND FOR GLORY (UPDATED)

Well TonyR, with you predicting that the Colts will win the Superbowl, the Bears are sure to prevail.

Thanks.

Bear down, Chicago Bears!
Make every play clear the way to victory!
Bear down, Chicago Bears!
Put up a fight with a might so fearlessly!
We'll never forget the way you thrilled the nation -
with your T formation . . .
Bear down, Chicago Bears
and let them know why you're wearing the crown -
You're the pride and joy of Illinois
Chicago Bears, bear down!

OH FOR GOD'S SAKE GET A GRIP... IT WON'T BE THAT BAD

I just might get physically ill if, once again in my life, I have to see helicopters removing defeated American troops as Democrats once more snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

The word 'democrat' will literally become a curse word if that happens.

PHOENIX RISING

Weak schedule and a good defense . . .

Why, I thought you were talking about the Bears there again.
