ALL MY SONS

Shucks, Rick, I immediately thought that Nadia must be the (a?) mole, and now everyone will think I got the idea from you. Can't ever get ahead of you. She certainly is pretty.

And heck, if they can turn a former American (the blonde chick from season 2, the bad sister), they can surely turn an immigrant, even one of long duration.

AFTERMATH

#12, you missed something. Graem (got the spelling from the synopsis @ fox.com/24/episodes/) was the one yanking Prexy Jellyfish's chains last season. He knew full-well that Jack was alive.

Not that he would necessarily share that info with the butler...wonder if dad knows.

Regarding his kid, let's not go on resemblances. Face it, Kimmy-babe doesn't look one bit like either Jack *or* Teri (r Graem, for that matter, if we're doing really incestuous theorizing here :).

Leaving the resemblance aside, Jack's REACTION to him is more telling. However, his parentage may be irrelevant. Is Graem going to make it out of the plastic bag??

(and yes, I have seen Cromwell play heavies. And he can act circles around Sutherland Sr, so I can see why they signed him up).

I'm looking forward to seeing James Cromwell as Phillip Bauer. I hope he's not bad, but if (since) Graham is, and is probably (possibly?) working with/for him, it doesn't look good.

The reason I hope he's a good guy, is that I LIKE James Cameron.

I could not -freakin'- believe it when Graham turned out to be Jack's bro. That was a bigger surprise to me than the nuke.

SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES

I saw on the fox.com/24 website that Curtis is dead also.

HOWEVER, I checked my recording last night and the closing seconds of that episode DID have the tink-thumps as I call them. Usually that's silent when a major character is killed. Unless they forgot.

I just got around to the official FOX episode summaries for the first 4 hours. Lennox is called a "special advisor to the President," not chief of staff. I didn't think he acted like a chief of staff, who is usually concerned with the politics of decisions rather than doing things like setting up detention centers.

In any case, I don't like him. And I don't much trust Karen Hayes. It surely took her a long time to get onboard last season. But maybe By-the-Book has had some influence. Wonder how long they've been married.

Also, does the body count include the CTU'er back at the storage facility? He fell down, but was probably wearing body armor?? Of course, he may have been too close to the grenade, we don't know.

More to the point: Nameer is definitely dead, he was at Ground Zero. But so was Fayed, no?

JUST LIKE RIDING A BICYCLE

OK, I said I didn't care about the Chloe-isms, but I can't believe you left out.

"Shut up, Milo."

(and the accompanying M-the-Catism: "You might want to attenuate your thoughtless remarks once in awhile.")

[shaking head and laughing out loud]

Rick, you are really good at this.

I've no opinion on your Chloe-isms. This year, I prefer Morris-the-cat.

Milo: ...does sarcasm just burst (drip? spew? whatever) out of your mouth?

M-the-Cat: Are we through here?

Waiting anxiously for tonight, and fully confident that Jack will recover his ruthlessness (Mitch Rapp, from Vince Flynn's books, could help with that)

ONCE MORE INTO THE BREACH, DEAR JACK

The big mystery to me is how Jack gets back to this country. He can't possibly start in China, as it takes something like 10 hours just to fly back from there to LA.

I love the line in the trailer: "you're hurting me." "Trust me, I'm not." vintage Jack.

I opined awhile back to Rick that perhaps he's somewhere in Central or South America. The Chi-coms do control the Panama Canal, after all, and probably have other "interests" down south.

(my opinion may not have made it to rick...i used the contact me link on this site, but i recall getting some kind of error message. email may not have gone thru.

THE AVENGER (PART I)

The time stamp when Martha succeeds in seducing Logan is 5:56. When episode 2 starts, they are not only getting dressed, they are *finishing* getting dressed. Talk about a quickie.

Can't wait for your Part II, Rick. You are really good at this. Can I find your blogs of last season somewhere?
