THE ANTI-REASON CONSERVATIVES

"...Sounds like I approve of “conservatives asserting themselves,” but what the fu*k do I know?..."

Apparently, you don't know very much, at least about what's actually going on with conservatives vs. what you're foaming-at-the-blog, mad-dog freaking out about over what you THINK is going on...

Actually, it sounds a whole lot more like you "approve of" conservatives "asserting themselves" as long as they're willing to keep on toein' that ol' Party line, regardless of the increasingly-blatantly apparent crappy sort of RINO candidates the RNC and/or the NRCC keep trying to foist off on "the faithful."

So long as everybody stays in step, and votes for whoever gets that good ol' Seal Of GOP Approval, all is okey-dokey, right?

"We want your opinion - just as soon as we finish telling you what it's going to be."

I don't think so - not any more. Wipe some of that mad-dog foam off your blog, and think about it.

But then - WE'RE just the "voting base" - what the f**k do WE know, right?...

IF ELECTED, OBAMA WILL BE MY PRESIDENT

um…lemme see now. Comments are running about 50-1 against me – most much more original in their vitriol than you, my ignorant friend. So I guess that means I am “suppressing” points of view that disagree with my original post?

You’re right. I confess. Comments are actually running 500-1 against me but I am deleting the rest.

ed.

1) Gosh, sorry for being so "unoriginal" - but when opposing such narrow-gauge derangement as yours, not much "originality" is called for or even possible, now, is it?

2) The only detectible ignorance on display, of course, is yours - both in the original post, and in your feeble attempts to reply to those responding in the negative.

3) It's said that confession is good for the soul - but only when made sincerely. Your insincerity is obvious, and therefore your confession is pointless (even if it was, apparently, intended as sarcasm - that simply makes it even more pointless).

4) Your reading and comprehension skills obviously need work; so far, as I stated, you're apparently at the "ridicule" stage, not yet having arrived at the "ignore or suppress" stage, which comes later...unless you weren't vainly striving for sarcasm, and actually have been deleting many of the opposing comments?

I would have deleted this but I think it instructive as to the celebration of ignorance that you and other commenters on this post gleefully take part. Party on, dude.

Oh, by all means, deleted away - entirely consistent with the pinheaded ignorance expressed in the original post, and with the deep-seated desire to override the minority by your "will of the majority" - can't answer the dissenting views expressed in an honest and straightforward manner (since the dissent is based in fact, while your "majority view" is based on wishful thinking and fantasy), so of course the dissent must be ridiculed and, if not thereby defeated, ignored or suppressed.

Dream on, Ed.!!

…it doesn’t give the minority the right to torpedo the legitimacy of the winner.

Yer talkin’ to the wrong audience, Booby Hatch - go have a chat with the dingalings who, to this day will try to read you chapter and verse about how the Eeevil Bush-Rove Vote-Fraud Conspiracy stole the 2000 and 2004 elections, and how G.W.Bush isn’t really the legitimate POTUS, and hasn’t been for eight years.

Let us know how that turns out for ya…

(From the above)...the idea that after 8 years the left could never get over the results and indeed, showed a derangement toward the president even after a still close but decisive win in 2004 proves that it is up to us on the right to bring our politics back to a rough equilibrium...

Bzzzt!! Wrong conclusion - all it “proves” is that, so far as the left is concerned, it ain’t over ’till they get their preferred result…

(He goes on)…so that we can work together in these perilous times.

Lots of luck with that one, too, Booby - if there’d been any real interest in “working together” on the part of the Demonrat Left anytime in the past several decades, these would quite possibly be considerably less “perilous times” - what is it that makes you think, now that they’re about to get what they’ve been working so hard for (basically, control of everything) that they’re going to have even a passing interest in “working together” with you or anyone else? And exactly why is it that you think any declaration on your part (or by anyone else the left sees as being on the other side) of “elected legitimacy” or lack thereof of The Chosen One means diddley-shit to them?

Your declaration of “elective legitimacy” plus twenty bucks will get you a crappy cuppa joe and a day-old cruller at Starbucks, as long as you stand in line and don’t tip too heavy.

I would have deleted this but I think it instructive as to the celebration of ignorance that you and other commenters on this post gleefully take part. Party on, dude.
