Well, I've been following the ups and downs of all four teams in the race. It's not so much that the White and Red Sox have been chumps. It's more that the Indians and Yankees have been on f'n fire.
By the way, I'm livin' and dyin' with the Red Sox, you're livin' and dyin' with the White Sox, and Don Surber is livin' and dyin' with the Indians. This is going to be fun.
I don't think I'll have any fingernails left next Monday.

I think you might be a little premature in awarding any Democrat Florida, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Michigan or Minnesota. The first two are more likely Republican; the last three could go either way.But Hillary is definitely trying to be all things to all people - she's come out against the IFC in NY.

I see your point, in that with a patient bleeding profusely you want the ER doc to run over to put pressure and stop the bleeding, then start barking out instructions getting the resources mobilized to provide definitive care.
This still doesn't explain how FEMA was seen to work well in Florida repeatedly last year, and without as much wailing and gnashing of teeth in Mississippi and Alabama this year. Perhaps Brown wasn't, and shouldn't have been, seen as the ER doctor for this patient. Maybe Dr. Blanco (like Dr. Jeb Bush last year) was really on duty.
That is, do we really want the big nanny Feds responsible for everything? Top down management? That may be a recipe for sluggishness.

Excellent review and analysis. I know the deranged left is foaming at the lips over this memo, but given the other facts contained in the memo, as well as the other findings by investigative committees you've listed above, there's just no way. I'm sorry. It just doesn't mean what they think it means.
That won't stop Conyers and his ilk from shouting BUSH LIED! for the next 50 years or so, though.

Very interesting. They must have had Violet from 'The Incredibles' riding in the car, creating a force field around it. No bullet holes? Windshield completely intact? Amazing technology, that's what it is!
Personally, I'm astounded the press prints this stuff, often without disclaimer to indicate her anti-war/anti-American slant.
