We OWE you too Rick. Even when I don't agree with you, you make me think. How bad can that be!

I think some of the shrill cacaphony emanating from the right is the sheer nonsense being spoken in support of Senator Obama and the persons who are blathering such nonsense. The perception of him as some sort of shining, untouchable messiah by his supporters is so patently offensive as to send some of us of a more conservative gland into sheer fury at the dunderheads in Obama's thrall. We KNOW it is nonsense and we do not understand how the entire "old" media can be so thoroughly "in the tank" for this unqualified, inexperienced, idiotic and thin-skinned flimflam artist!
And I will admit that I am just silly enough to find the new references to "Rosary Joe" Biden as "The Chia Pet" to be hilariously funny!

OBAMA THROWS 'HOPE AND CHANGE' UNDER THE BUS
Obama still has hope - the HOPE that his past associations and transgressions don't catch up to him before the election, HOPE that he will win the election (not gonna happen) or he'll have to CHANGE into a prison orange suit - which is not a look that works for anyone!
When a candidacy is so mean-spirited that it makes fun of a war hero opponent whose injuries are the REASON he cannot type and use computers, then it is morally bankrupt and doomed to abject failure.
Welcome to your new reality Senator Obama.

SOMEBODY THROW THE DEMOCRATS A LIFE PRESERVER
That is because, unlike most politicians, Sarah Palin is authentic. And not a lawyer - which is an additional point in her favor in my eyes!

OLBERMANN AND MATTHEWS OUT AS MSNBC ANCHORS
Does that mean Chrissie isn't tingling any more?
What I consistently fail to understand is how deluded these people must be to think nobody would NOTICE how in the tank for Obama's horsepuckey they were! It's amazing that anyone could be that dopey! Okay - Olbermann would have no personality if he weren't a dolt - but Chris Matthews used to exhibit the occasional glimmer of intelligence.
Nobody to blame but themselves but we can be sure they will blame GWB in some form or fashion.

SNOWBALL PICKS HER RUNNING MATE
Good point, Lasso! As to Michael B. - Sam the Wonder Cat will be stopping by your house to subject you to a little "reeducation" on the subject of feline superiority! It's not wise to mess with a 26-pound cranky Maine Coon fella!

I hereby propose Sam the Wonder Cat as Secretary of State or, in the alternative, Defense. Protector should be his middle name, especially when it comes to me. He has teeth and he has both the ability and the will to use them. And very little sense of humor where protecting his turf is concerned. Then there's his rather imposing size! 26 pound (and very agile) Maine Coon fellas are nothing to trifle with! And he's quite handsome as well!

The Rick Moran Show: Things to do in Denver when you're dead
This just in: McCain has opened up a 5 point lead over Obama in the latest Reuters/Zogby poll:
In a sharp turnaround, Republican John McCain has opened a 5-point lead on Democrat Barack Obama in the U.S. presidential race and is seen as a stronger manager of the economy, according to a Reuters/Zogby poll released on Wednesday.
McCain leads Obama among likely U.S. voters by 46 percent to 41 percent, wiping out Obama's solid 7-point advantage in July and taking his first lead in the monthly Reuters/Zogby poll.
The fat lady has yet to sing!
