ALLEN IN '08?

Rick,
Having been a governor is a huge plus for Allen. Another governor that I consider a potential star is Huckabee of Arkansas. I'm anyone but McCain.

TERRORISM'S LATEST VICTIM

Rick,
Franklin's quote is appropriate in the WOT. He was advocating that free Indians arm themselves against the French armed Indians. What Europe and the Left are doing is talking nice to the terrorists in an attempt to purchase short term security. They are the cowards that refuse to fight for their freedom, they don't deserve it.

THEY'RE APPEASERS NOT TRAITORS

The obvious way to end this type of violence, shame. The problem with the Left is that shame is judgmental and their warped sense of tolerance is tolerating. Who defended the OK bombing? When dogs and fire hoses were on TV stopping peaceful assembly in Birmingham, who defended it other than the perpetrators? Shame leads to introspection, that leads to cultural dialog and change. That is what Bill Cosby is doing, shaming African American culture. This tribal Islamo culture needs shame from within.

CONFRIMATION STRATEGIES REFLECT PARTISAN REALITIES

He was on TV this morning making a statement. He is so weak, Hatch was so much better at this deflecting Leahy. I don't have a problem with a floor fight, but the committee move swiftly. This isn't the wobbly Foreign Relations Committee.

Rick,
Robert's has a presence that will be difficult to demonize. The key is Specter. Specter must set a civil tone for the hearings. He has solid Republican membership that should be able to thwart any attempts by the Democrats to turn this hearing into a circus. If Specter fails, he should lose his chairmanship.

FROG MARCHING AND OTHER TWICE TOLD TALES

Rick,
This is an example of what the Framers feared. They considered political parties somewhat treasonous. They wanted to avoid the constant scandal driven quest for power so prevalent in Roman times.

IT'S GREAT TO BE GODLIKE!

Joe Wilson uses the auspices of the CIA and Vice President to make frivolous claims against the Bush Administration, claims that were not the consensus view of the CIA, should not be questioned? John Bolton is considered dangerous because he followed the consensus line? Ambassador Wilson can say anything he wants, but Bolton beholds the language of the government must be rejected. Kos misses the real issue, the politicalization of the CIA is the real enemy of our national security, the people that allowed Wilson to publicly speak on behalf of the agency are the real traitors.

Rick,
The left is as euphoric as they were the day of the election by believing in web speculation of a Kerry victory. This non-story and the stupidity of attaching their star to a character like Joe Wilson, ultimately will turn to deep over the edge depression when it is revealed that the conspirators are Joe and Valerie Wilson.

THE CIA VS. THE WHITE HOUSE AND THE POLITICS OF WAR

Rick,
The White House has all the facts, Rove is smart enough to know how this story is going to end. Miller is the key, she has to be protecting the Plame-Wilson conspiracy. How was it that Wilson was so quick to blame Rove? The CIA's notice to the justice department about Plame was unnecessary, an intentional political attack on the White House.
