OBAMA'S FRIENDSHIP WITH PFLEGER
I can remember how sure I was about what I believed and wanted as a conservative in 1994 when we had the Contract with America. Gingrich was brilliant...then became a weak and disappointing Speaker. House leaders were speaking each night on C-Span. Voters obviously agreed, and we swept the liberals out. I just wonder : Where are the leaders who can articulate their views. It's like all of a sudden, the people who usually speak up and lead, DON'T !

Oh - how about
FDR, without a declaration of war or Congressional authorization, invaded the North African territories of neutral Vichy France with whom the administration still had cordial relations with till the very moment of the attack. Reviews of the reports by even our commanders showed that the German Nazis and Italian Fascists were not to be found in these areas we occupied. The French suffered significant causalities defending their own sovereign territory. This unprovoked attacked will be remember as a day of infamy.

MALKIN'S CRITICS: APPALLING INCIVILITY
I too could not understand the hate and vitriol directed at Michelle.Yes,she is outspoken and unafraid to take an unpopular stand when she believes she is right.But after reading your post tonight,I think I have a handle on lefts hatred of MM.By being a female and of a minority race,she is supposed to be helpless without the Left's Feel-Good intentions.By being the strong,independent woman that she is,she demonstrates to them that their ideas are basically useless to someone who is willing to do the work required to succeed.Nothing pi$$es someone off more than demonstating to them how unnecessary they are.

Whether you like it or not, (and I love it), She tells it the way she sees it and doesn't pander to anyone. Gosh imagine if more people were like that instead of always worrying about who will be offended. We are so worried about making someone feel bad in this country we, and that means both right and left, do not stand by our convictions. I respect people more when I know where they are coming from like their opinion or not.
