THE MAN WHO DOESN'T KNOW WHEN TO SHUT UP

Interesting little tidbit here: my wife has to find a new Ob/Gyn as the one she has been going to for years is quitting. He doesn't cite concerns over pro-lifers as the reason, though. No, he's retiring early due to the vast increase in his insurance costs brought on by caring Liberals like the ambulance chasing John Edwards.

Shaw has done us the great disservice of defining "terrorism" downward in much the same way another idealist, Andrew Sullivan, has defined "torture" downward to include discomfort and mild humiliation in another attempt to twist emotionally charged words to fit their agendas.

WAS ANYTHING TRUE?

sknabt:

Do you really not see a difference between "photo-journalism" that professes to be an unbiased view of events and a bunch of talking heads on TV sharing their opinions?

AN UNSCHOLARLY, NON-LAWYERLY OPINION ON THE NSA DECISION

And as I’ve speculated recently, perhaps it will take a liberal President to make that happen.

"I'm going to cry and whine and hold my breath until I get my way."

Yes, I love the idea of giving in to their childish antics. Nothing works quite as well as rewarding juvenile temper tantrums. Yes, let's let them hold us hostage until we see the correctness of their infinite wisdom.

THE NEW YORK TIMES - ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE

Talk about a win-win for the morally challenged editors at the Times. Consider what the headlines would have been had the photographer been killed by a US counter-attack on that sniper:

US Troops Targeting Journalists in Iraq!

Heroic Journalist Dies in US Attack!

HAMDAN COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED

If Bush falls in this global battle, our country is truly doomed. It will be the end of the Executive's power to defend our nation, and the legislature is incapable of addressing issues of any importance, much less issues of defense.

The sad thing is, half the populace would cheer.

FOR THE LEFT, IT'S A RACE TO SEE WHO SURRENDERS FIRST: US OR THEM

Again with the "I question the timing, what with elections right around the corner and campaigning in nearly full swing."

Has anyone else noticed that campaigning never stops?? Elections are always right around the corner these days.

Of course, there is that week to ten days just after a national election when we take a deep breath and "question the timing" because of some other unrelated event of the moment. "Yeah, they're just doing that now to take attention off of [insert inane argument here].

Personally, I question the timing of all timing questioners.

"TELL THOSE DIRTY FASCISTS TO STOP THE NAME CALLING!"

When Ann Coulter shares a VIP box with a former President at their national convention, you might have a point. For now, though, I see her shunned from both sides in the way Micheal Moore should have been, but wasn't.

MURTHA: OLD SOLDIERS SHOULD JUST FADE AWAY

Murtha has the same plan the Republicans have. You just cannot admit it.

And apparently, neither can he.

"Phased Withdrawal" = do what we're doing now, but we'll take the credit.

My plan for the future: I call for the sun to rise in the East and set in the West. We'll phase it in over a period of time, so the days will progressively get longer. After half a year or so, my advanced planning calls for reducing the number of hours in each day for the next 6 months.

When it happens, and it will, remember to thank me.

JOHN KERRY IS A WEASEL

There was no best man that one [sic] the 2004 election.

Whose fault was that? The GOP had no real choice in candidate, but the DNC did. Kerry is the best they had to offer? Personally, I was ABB until I saw/heard Kerry. I would have voted Lieberman, given the chance.
