such as: how could an airplane hitting a tower 'up there' totally demolish (pulverize) a 110 story building all the way 'down there' at the base, 2 times (er, 3 times with building 7, even though it suffered no plane strike) c'mon, use your head...and how come there wasn't any aircraft pieces at Shanksville site, jumbo passenger aircraft DO NOT vaporize, in cartoons maybe...and I have yet to figure out what hit the Pentagon, it clearly wasn't a large passenger jet, we all can agee on that...I do not know who was behind the murders on 9/11/01, but you got to admit, if you research beyond what FOX,CNN,and the other mainstream media tells is feeding us, the 'official story' stinks to high heaven...
Rick- at first i thought that the next season would continue the day after but now after what you had said it seems that it will take place a little later afterwards. Any predictions how the next season will begin?

By the way- thanks for all the excellent summaries and commentaries through this season. they have been great, either provoking us to think more or making us laugh. I cant wait to read them next season. Thanks again.
i think what i would love to see happen... in the vein of "free market" and all that... is that those that shoot their mouths (keyboards?) off in such disasterously hideous fashions should simply lose credibility with their audiences.
they should simply no longer be taken seriously.
sadly, i don't think this will happen... given the american public's penchant for the bastardized opinion-forming method of finding evidence for their conclusions, and not the other way around.
that being said, those that proclaim she should have essentially committed suicide by refusing to make the tapes... are simply fools. sad, sad, pathetic fools.

Plenty of people believe in slippery slopes, entire desensitization programs have been built on them. First one befriends the German shepherd and teaches it tricks obedience, etc. then one hangs it for graduation. After that one is ready to hang or gas people.
I think the real casualty of Terri Schiavo is the rule of law itself. 1/3 of the government set it’s self over the other co-equal branches. The congress and executive made their will plain when they ordered a de novo review. When the court set that aside they set themselves over the other two and raised several difficult questions.
If the law is whatever a judge says it is, how is that different from the rule of man? Why should I feel obligated to the proclamations of a black robed politburo?

Either you missed the point, more likely, or you're being disingenuious, which I do doubt. I didn't misunderstand the nature of those posts. Read what I wrote:

All it takes is one screen capture of a major corporation's ad on a site with content like that to start a controversy for the corporation. And you and I both know the tactics of some well enough to not pretend it can't or won't happen.
And I didn't suggest you would somehow alter your posting because you inked a contract with PJM. What I pointed out was a problem with their ad model as it has been expressed by them. If truly large advertisers with a great deal to lose are going to run ads on blogs, they will have to maintain some standards - most likely very PC ones, as a matter of fact. Pointing that very basic fact out is not an attack on you.
Why not consider and respond on that very valid point, as opposed to taking it as a personal, or blog vs. blog assault - which it was and is not? If you care about PJM, elevate the discourse, don't drag it down. I certainly didn't intend to with my post.

I don't think ID has to be independant of evolution. However, I think suggesting that we teach it as well as evolution is silly.
Teach evolution, because honestly, the folks who are for ID believe in evolution guided by God's hand. If you just leave the God part out, it is the same thing.
But again, suggesting teaching ID is nothing less than teaching religion and calling it science.

Teaching ID along side evolution would be akin to altering math to teach "2+2=4, because God said so."
It takes a valid mathematic/scientific law or theory, and says it is only true because God made it that way.

Call me jaded, I see it going on and assume the sitemeters are rising. I said all I'm saying in a real short post. I actually spent some time tonight writing a flaming post on a blogger somewhat but not directly related - it's sitting as a draft and probably staying there. Who needs it
