Leftist thuggishness has subverted representative,majority rule/minority rights, government wherever it has not been opposed firmly, and actual force met with force. Where the force opposing leftist thuggishness has been government, liberty may be preserved. Where it has not, the result has been authoritarianism, of the left if the left is successful, or of the right, if the left is defeated.
If conservatives and centrists are unsuccessful in maintaining control of the levers of power, we will find ourselves in a situation not so very different from Chavez' Venezuela. Be afraid. Be very, very afraid.

No longer. What the Democrats have done in the past 8 years is to utterly subvert the legitimacy of our two party system by delegitimizing the elected government. It works only one way with them. The only thing that will ever break them of these habits is to repay them in kind and to raise it to a new level of complete refusal to cooperate in any way, consistent with not actually breaking any law.

The life and death of these United States can't be "effectively decided" in the Middle East. That's just ridiculous. Israel could wipe the Arab nations off the map and it wouldn't do much for us. The Arabs could wipe Israel off the map and we would still be here, still kickin. That's just a ridiculous statement. That is not a realist approach to security affairs, which is sad, because those of us on the Right wing are supposed to be realists.

Well I agree with the Huffington Post comment about Bush destroying the Constitution, but what the heck does the Left know about preserving the Constitution? Liberalism's bedrock is the evolution and erosion of the Constitution!

LET'S TORCH THE FLAG BURNING AMENDMENT
I hope this amendment goes up in flames (pun intended). This isn't a conservative agenda. This is a Republican agenda. I'm so sick of this campaigning at the cost of my liberties. Our Founding Fathers have to be rolling in their graves at the very idea of this.
