I had alot of typos, I typed it quickly. But my point is simple. The History Channel was a total hit piece with no actual important information. History Channel and Popular Mechanics are Shill organizations owned by HURST PUBLISHING- yellow journalism 100%.
But of course it doesnt matter what facts I bring up, because this site is pathetic and you maniac prefer to live in your TV reality where the loving Fed takes care of you and never lies, and Fox news is "fair and balanced" haha. Youll all wake up some day..

Oh yeah, they totally "dedunked" the 9/11 truth movement. Yet I wonder why they ignored, especially since theyre so "trustworthy"

4. THE FOREKNOWLEDGE of the attack, which cannot be "explained away" (Jeb Bush Declared MARTIAL LAW in Florida just before the attack. Now WHY did he do that? Cause he KNEW IT WAS COMING.)
i feel vindicated now too.

Ricky, baby, I'm not mad you deleted my comment. I'm thrilled to know you still care. Love you too, you crazy old man.
Btw, ever gonna apologize for threatening your poor would be supporter?
I deleted your comment because there was an obscenity and you know it. And WTF are you talking about? I have never threatened anyone in my life.
You are certifiable.

Oh, Rick. I happen to be in grad school for philosophy, and that's a vast oversimplification. Plato was not trying to document Socrates's thought, and Plato's methods were his either own or from Pythagoras and Parmenides. Compare the Socratoi of Plato and Xenophon and you'll see the philosophic content is almost entirely lacking in the latter. We plain don't know much about Socrates the actual man, aside from anecdotes and biographical data P and X agree on. But it's relatively clear, from textual clues, that Plato was not trying to document Socrates's life, but rather to produce new works of art and philosophy. Note, for example, that Plato distinctly mentions his own absence in several of the most famous dialogues.Comment Posted By brad On 8.02.2007 @ 19:33
In short, I'd suggest you do more work in the area before suggesting anything more than a passing familiarity with it.
Ummm, Rick? Small point, but you've never read the writings of Socrates. He didn't leave any writings. Plato wrote Sokratoi Logoi, as did others, of which we have only Xenophon, but Socrates made a point of not producing writings.Comment Posted By brad On 8.02.2007 @ 18:22
Maybe you should have paid more attention in uni when you had the chance?

And hell yes, I want to stay in school forever. I get a hell of a lot more from lectures than I will by standing in front of a class full of freshman trying to convince them and myself to care about Kant.
Also, post docs come with stipends, which is to say, they're kinda like jobs.
Now stop trying to come between me and Ricky. I love him truly, madly, deeply, and it's only a matter of time before he admits he feels the same.
Or, ricky, I was goading you like the cute little tool you are.Comment Posted By brad On 15.11.2006 @ 20:22
Nice to see you're as predictable as I expected.
