IT AIN'T A MOVEMENT! There is no conservative MOVEMENT. There never was. It's just another coalition. Socons are just the temperance movement reincarnated. They threw their lot in with Reagan 'cuz they had nowhere else to go and Reagan pandered to them. What did Reagan ever do about abortion? Socons are as quick as libs to use the federal gov't as a stick on everyone else.
Just imagine... Pat Buchanan-isolationist, James Dobson-superSocon, G.W.Bush-big Govt Globalist, Huckleberry-bleeding heart, McCain-Mr.BiPartisan... ALL claiming to be conservatives and not much in common. Movement my @ss!Comment Posted By zeke On 14.01.2008 @ 00:25

syn nailed it. Saying, "Democrat careers", he might have said super-delegates. As zwhite said, "She will somehow take this all the way to the convention even if she’s behind. And if there’s a way to steal it, she will."Comment Posted By zeke On 7.01.2008 @ 22:44
It's the Jihad, stupid! (I'm not calling you stupid, just repeating the slogan). If Rice/Bush are wimping out, how much worse will O'Bommah be? If we can't defeat him then we have to fight tooth and nail to minimize the damage.
What in hell is all reconciliation/new beginning nonsense about anyway? As long as the libtards are drawing moral equivalency between the Arabs and the Israelis (just one of a million examples), there is nothing to do but fight.

Michael said: "I cannot abide Romney. Can’t stand him. But the country would probably be safe enough in his hands."
That's about where I am too. I've been saying for months, Mitt and Edwards are too of the phoniest candidates I've ever seen.
Someone called Huck a "pro-life Carter." Makes sense, except Huck is likeable. He's a great campaigner, but I don't see him going anywhere.
WE JUST CAN'T AFFORD a foreign policy buffoon like Huck or O'BommahComment Posted By zeke On 6.01.2008 @ 12:11
