I agree with your main point that the contest should be won with full disclosure by both sides about their true philosophies of government.
The truth is, however, that neither main stream candidate (if they are to be main stream) can afford to redically depart from the status quo. It is only around the margins that they can actually change when it becomes time to govern. Rhetoric is one thing. Governing another.

Some performances seem superhuman. That was one of them.

As a Freshman at Kansas, Wilt also ran the (then) 440 yard dash faster than all but a few men in the country. He was a phenomenal athlete.

AREN'T THERE ANY GROWN UPS IN THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY?
Until January, 2009, there is only one President of the United States, and has every right to represent the USA at the Knessett.
As I read the speech (and I read it all), he said nothing there that is inconsistent with US foreign policy for the last twenty-five years.
I would be interested in seeing the commenters who believe W made a heinous statement quote it and tell us all where it differs from US Foreign policy from 1992-2000.

Krauthammer opined on Fox News tonight that the Red Witch is finally enjoying herself on the campaign trail because she has figured out how to make hay against BHO. Go to the right of BHO on "values" issues like guns, religion, family values, etc. This opening peresented itself with the Wright/Ayers thing and the San Francisco comments to his "elite" contributors.
Even though it may be too late, she is getting traction with the new strategy, and enjoying herself much more.
"Found her voice" as it were. I must say it is a far better voice than her former "whiny bitch" schtick.
