Oh, I dunno. I've read a couple of very well researched articles lately on the state of contracting operations in Iraq. The amount of MY F'ING MONEY pouring into the hands of contracting companies makes this Rogers nonsense look as stupid as, well, it actually is.

I read your blog post. It was horrible and incoherent. You might as well just put a banner up on your site that says "I hate gay people." If you really cared about family stability, my guess is that you'd be helping out down at the battered womens shelter, or the local DCFS. But instead, you blather on and on about how gay people will destabilize families.
You say that homosexuals are just in it for themselves. They don't care about families, because it's all about what makes the individual happy. What a stupid distraction from your true feelings, and a point for noting the obvious. Ah, how horrible of them to want rights to designate inheritance. How horrible of them to want the same health and tax benefits. No, all they're interested in is destroying families, right?
Get a clue. Very few people care about gay marriage. Mostly it's just bigots with badly written blogs.

Here's the deal with actual people on the streets, regardless of party.
1. Very few people really care about abortion. They'd rather have the huge pothole on their street fixed, than work up the energy to debate abortion.

Is the US an imperialist power? Of course it is, but only to those countries that can be of value to us in some way. If your country has a resource we need, we will find a way to take it from you. Either by literal force or economic force, it will be ours. If your country has the ability to buy our goods, you'll see a McDonalds under every Coca-Cola billboard in town.
The kicker is, if you F*ck with our commerce in any way. If you disrupt it or impede it or protest it, we will find a way to destroy you. Whether it be militarily, or economically, or we replace your entire government entirely, we'll do what we must to keep commerce alive.
EVERYTHING, and I do mean EVERYTHING takes a back seat to commerce. If you mess with our commerce, we will murder you. It's that simple. The United States is NOT full of humanitarians. It's full of business people and massive consumerism. It just so happens that properly regulated capitalism is a decent cure for poverty in those countries that we CHOOSE to let it flourish in.

Yeah, not only would it be silly to posit the notion, but it would be unpatriotic as well. It might even prove that you have something to hide. If people would just accept that the administration has their best interests in mind, the whole process would go a lot smoother.

I'm just happy that Rove and company have helped establish such a massively powerful executive. I'm sure all that power will work out great for the Democrats. He helped hand them the House and Senate last year, and he'll do the same in 08. Way to go Turd Blossom.

This country will never elect a mormon to be president. Most republicans I know would rather vote for a Christian democrat than a mormon.
