EXPOSITION EXHIBITIONISM

i have thought that the story has been a bit 'slow' but then have begun to think that it is a little meat to a more sophisticated audience, especially those of us who have watched for 4 years. they've been 'growing us up' along the way. i also think it's part of a big build up until all hell breaks loose which will be VERY satisfying. and i think that when the story line involved characters in the administration proper, there would be less violence. i wondered about jenny's partner checking linn's wallet for cash and/or other things and then taking it with him, too. may be nothing. bringing icky kim into ctu was kind of a weird way for audrey to deal with her. (did my eyes deceive me or was the machinist the same guy who played chase [kim's husband]only with a beard and hair????)
did you notice that audrey handled it a lot better when jack was having curtis stomp on rosseler's leg? seems like she's beginning to get the urgency of torture. i had a little question mark pop up in my head when i saw walt hanging by his tie, but could go either way with it. and it seemed to me that spencer should have had his sweet self tossed in jail.

"...PROMISES TO KEEP AND MILES TO GO BEFORE I SLEEP"

i'm rather proud of myself because i've been proven true on 2 things: palmer would die and walt is a dirty rotten scoundrel. the issue of jack's soul mate is yet to be resolved because audrey is still very much connected to jack and they haven't really shown him to be deeply and romantically involved with huxley. i suspect they will toy with us throughout. bringing kim back into the picture--yuck. can't stand her as played by that actress. and as usual, GO CHLOE!!! (and thanks rick for blogging this. i know others are, but i always check out your commentary first.)

CIA VS. THE WHITE HOUSE: INMAN SPEAKS

Rick,

According to Scary Larry's limited vocabulary, a lot of us do. Welcome to the club. I must admit, you are in good company if you belong to a club I'm a member of.

Top,

I suspect that is why he only lasted less than 4 years in the agency. They realized he was a...stand back...get ready...I'm about to...use...his...own...word...against...him...MORON.

Rick,

I've had my own little emails from Scary Larry. He and I are old 'friends'. I hope you saved your emails. I have a plan for the use of them in the upcoming election in Michigan. The one where Scary Larry is endorsing the democratic candidate. ::grin:: You hear that Larry? Your emails will bite you on the hiney...just as typos bit you on the hiney... ::grin::

Wow. Larry you are a busy little beaver. How many little fires have you started that are now biting you on the hiney? NRO contacted Adm. Inman after your first claim they misquoted him. Adm. Inman said they got the quote right. It would appear you misquoted what the quote was. Now why doesn't that surprise me?

And the best part? You can't delete my post here... ::grin::

WRITERS BLOW IT PART II

ok, i'm back. spaulding was not a random agent. he and cummings have a relationship and both are doing a lot of logan's dirty work. i respect and admire the secret service and it's probably true that 99% of them are honorable, but people are people. i personally know a ex-secret serviceman who was in the clinton white house and let me tell you that they were witness to a lot of shameful stuff going on within its walls. and remember there wer 2 cops who were 'required' to find women for billie boy. spaulding is an exception and cummings knew who to call and how to arrange who would pick up jack.

the epinephrine. there's a clinic in ctu. fake blood? agents probably have a closet full of stuff to help them pull off their deceptions. i did wonder about the dead body they were going to pass off as jack's, though. maybe it was one of the many agents that got killed going after marwan or the consulate.

another possible set up for jack's future: mandy got total immunity. will she and jack cross paths again???

and about the lingering questions and holes. they could've pursued what happened to burn, etc., but i'd lose my mind or start drinking if this show turned into 48. i would make sure to become a faithful patron of any advertisers who would pay for more story time and crowd out the massive commercial time. it's my goal to be tivo-ed at our house by next season. the amount of commercials was ridiculous!!!!

and i hope you are blogging next time, too. it's been part of what's made this so fun!!

COWARDLY WRITERS RUIN FINALE

oh, yeah---i'm looking forward to seeing cummings and jellyfish take a well-deserved dive. novik needs to stay and stick it to em'. jelly would be just the one to fire him though and allow more corruption in the white house. maybe the writers will pursue the corruption idea, tying it into the china factor. they could include nuclear items being sold to the chinese by the president or chinese carrying suitcases full of money into the white house (sound familiar?)

i hope they don't pick up the story 4 years later with a new prez and let jelly and cummings off the hook. that would bum me out.

i love possibilities and the finale set us up for some good ones. they've raised the bar with this season and i hope the rise to the task.

i liked it and figured they'd 'jason bourne-d' him. they have set up the 'triangle' with michelle and tony and jack and i hope they use it to help jack. the next season should be about the chinese (who pose a serious and growing situation with the usa) and walt/
jellyfish out to get him. jack will meet his soulmate. i can't help but think that palmer will come in again somehow if even for a bit as jack's support system. jack, palmer, michelle, tony and chloe are the core of the show, being the most popular characters. i'll be disappointed if they are abandoned. they will help jack find himself, save himself, and get some reward---FINALLY---after all his sacrifice. (i was also thinking that they could've used north korea rather than china.) i checked at 10:30 and your post on the 2nd hour wasn't up yet so i'm interested to see your thoughts and explanation as to why you were disappointed. i'll be anxious for next season for the redemption of jack bauer. and if they pusue the china factor, i'd hope they wouldn't go pc on us. in many ways it's a touchier issue. the fanatacism of terrorists is a no-brainer.

i don't think i understood your comment about kiefer wanting to be executive producer. will your enlighten me???

(MORE THAN) 24 TILL "24"

i think it would be great to have marwan evade capture until next season, jack's ultimate nemesis. i'll be suprized it tony is killed by jack, he's had enough personal sacrifices. killing tony would be jumping the shark. maybe at the very least tony will get wounded and bring michelle to his side. i don't know how they could drop the china connection. palmer was brought to go against his grain and lie and we were lead to believe the chinese security agent will continue his investigation. i do hope they tell us how marwan got the access codes to the football. (unfortuanately, i was called away by a 3 year old for part of the story after the camping couple saved it.) be interesting to see if the missile lands in a blue state. hmmmm. . . my husband and son will be issued a directive to keep the 3 year old very busy tonight.
