I get that.
I suppose, for a thought experiment, I should like to see these high-minded critics put in the situation where they have to make choices. In a war, do we "lean" on a prisoner to acquire intelligence that might avoid bloodshed, or do we treat reality as just another abstraction?
Further, the timing of the release of this material seems too convenient.

I do not understand the big to-do over Glenn Reynolds demise of the Republican party. Genn makes no pretense to be a Republican. He is pro abortion, pro gay marriage and against almost all conservative views. He is pro America which is the only thing that distinguishes him from the far left. He is the great "blogger", but hi blog is just a bunch of links with litle commentary. I don't know, but I see Glenn as the msm see Obama, for some reason he gets way to much credit for doing way too little.

At noon eastern time today on c-span is the pro America Rally by Move America Forward But you would not know this bt reading any of the blogs. The blogs on the right seem to be doing a very good job of ignoring Melanie Morgan and making sure no one hears of her efforts to support the troops. But the blogs on the right are doing an excellent job of covering the Anti American protests
