Face it, the GOP is hostile to black people. Look how many black Republican congressmen there are, and look how many blacks vote for GOP. Blacks distrust Republicans, and for good reason.

The Republican Party and Democratic Party switched roles after the civil rights struggle after Southerners abandoned the Democrats for what they perceived as selling out to black people, desegregation, and diversity.
Don't even go there by claiming the Republicans are friendly to minorities. You're not.

40 years of government programs that increased the dependency of blacks, making them virtual slaves.
40 years of government programs that resulted in black teen pregnancy going through the roof (80% of all black pregnancies are out of wedlock).
40 years of government programs that have smashed the black family resulting in divorce rates in the black community going through the stratosphere.
40 years of government programs in Democratic run cities that have resulted in the worst school systems in the history of the industrialized world, turning out an estimated 70% of students who are functionally illiterate after 12 years.
40 years of government programs that have sapped the will of the black community to do anything for themselves except blame whites for their predicament.
Yes there is racism in this country. But to ignore 40 years of Democratic party initiatives, Democratic party agitation, Democratic party support for programs that have resulted in imprisoning 50% of black men, making them turn to a life of crime because Democratic mayors destroyed the tax base by raising taxes prohibitively on business and driving them out of the cities thus stupidly making good jobs scarce - and you have the unmitigated gall to think that Democrats are the "friends" of blacks?
