MY INTERVIEW WITH SERGEANT DAVID AGUINA

T, if Sgt. Aguila had shown up in civies, you would would have been one of the first people to demand he 'PROVE' his military service. Isn't that what you do? You demand that any soldier who speaks against the far left 'prove' who they are will the left takes the word of those like Jesse McBeth? Once again, you are trying to shoot the messanger instead of arguing his message.

You say "rallies and political events". Are you admitting that the Kos Konvention is nothing more than an arm of the Democrat Party even though it was billed as a "blogger" convention? If that is the case, the Soltz and his VoteVets group needs to be looked at since they claim 501c4 status. And don't think it can't happen. The Crawford Peace House, with Mother Moonbat on the board of directors, touted 501 status. Ooops, seems they never received, or even applied for, 501 status and according to Texas state law, now the directors are on the hook for all the back taxes they owe. Even wonder why Mother Moonbat made such a quick exit from the ditch?
Now since you seem to have more information than I have been able to gleen from the internet about Sgt. Aguila, I am sure you won't mind providing us with the "other" rallies and political events he has attended.
Or are you like the rest of the leftist world, just throw something out there and see if it sticks?

While all those on the left are yapping about how Sgt. Aguina violated the UCMJ none of you want to talk about the guts and fortitude that it took for ONE man to walk into a hostile situation. And if you think the Kossacks are not hostile to the military, perhaps you should read Whitney Brown's latest rant.
What this young veteran did was display extreme dedication to a people he was assigned to defend, both here and in Iraq. And that, not one of you leftist trolls can take away from him.

This young man not only walked the walk, he talks the talk and if his bravery is any indication of the rest of our military, we are a fortunate nation indeed.

Soltz has had no problem pushing his agenda showing his picture while uniformed on the VoteVets.org web site. Nor did he have a problem shutting down a dissenting voice. Typical of the left; if you don't like the message, shoot the messanger.

If Soltz is still IRR, as it has been reported, he also is guilty of violation of the UCMJ (as far as I can find out) by intimidating a subordinate while that subordinate was quoting military regs. So it is my hope that Soltz presses this issue and brings charges against Sgt. Aguila. Soltz will be required to testifiy at hearing and will be required to admit that the panel WAS political in nature and that will be a violation of VoteVets 501(c)4 requirements. But Soltz will not bring charges, as a superior officer, against this Sgt. because he knows (Soltz, that is) that he would have to admit to things he does not want to do nor does he want the feds taking a closer look at his group who is partly funded by George Soros and has close connections with MoveOn.org. And the American people would be outraged that Soltz showed such disrespect to a subordinate that had been to Iraq and felt he had the right to "his" free speech.

It is said that sunlight is the best disinfectant. VoteVets will chose to remain in the shawdows.

IT'S NOT DEAD. IT'S RESTING.

While you trolls try to tell us that Bush has been an egomaniac ever since taking office, I would like to remind you that the scum you have on the left side of the aisle would be singing Kumbaya with OBL if it was up to them. They have never met a terrorist they didn't think they could sell Al Gore's "Inconvenient Truth" to.
As to our losing to a "bunch of rag tag Middle Easterners in Toyota trucks" perhaps if the damn left side of the aisle was not so worried about "collateral" damage and took the gloves off and untied the hands of our military, we would have had Iraq under control long ago. Pretty damn hard to win a war when the rules of engagement have to be checked by the JAG officer assigned to every unit.
Bush is one of the few pols in Washington that understand the threat. 9-11 made an impact on him as it should have everyone of those elected dimwits, but instead we hear about moving troops to Okinawa and leaving Iraq, and it's oil fields, to the terrorists in a "let's just cut and run and see what happens" moment of total insanity.

I walked the sidewalk for Bush, twice. I spend days on the phone getting out the vote. I was a delegate to my state GOP convention. But I'll be damned if I give one dime to a bill that only promises more of the same. Stupidity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. What Congress gives (which is damn little to the American citizen in the Shamesty bill and a whole lot to criminals) Congress can take away.
Case in point: Fence Act of 2006 giving over 700 miles of fencing. New Bill: less than 400 miles of fencing.

The fact that Bush gave his "you are not doing what is best for America" speech in front of first liners like the Border Patrol is the height of arrogance and I for one, will not make another call, walk another step or donate one more dollar to a party of politicians that were elected to represent me, not some foreign nation. Never mind that his handlers were too stupid to realize that the Border Patrol on the whole, has come out against the Shamnesty bill. What an insult to those that walk the walk and talk the talk every damn day of their lives knowing that if they do their jobs, chances are they could wind up in prison.
To those who are cheering because the GOP is on it's death bed and the bells are tolling I say "be careful what you wish for, you just may get it".
And grab your wallet.

A NON ENDING TO A NON STORY

Tim in Raleigh says "it's not like it doesn't happen in reverse".

What is that supposed to mean? That since it happens to poor black boys that makes it al OK and the travesty of justice that was this prosecution should just be ignored because they are "rich white boys"?

What would make this better is if Jesse Jackson came out and said he was wrong and he "misjudged" these young men. But you won't hear that. And you won't read the apology of the 88 professors from Duke that convicted these young men without a trial.

Had this been a white girl accusing three black atheletes and she was found to have been lying, she would be facing charges. But that ain't gonna happen. Not as long as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have a breath left in them.

These men were treated unfairly and to make excuses for it because the are "rich" is just so much bull.

O'REILLY AND GERALDO LOSE IT ON AIR

Funny, those who are siding with Geraldo are saying "this isn't about immigration, it's about drunk driving". All this says to me is that you don't mind importing more criminals. Do any of you even realize that it IS about illegal immigration and the crimes they commit? Geraldo said the illegals from Mexico don't drink and drive any more than anyone else. But how does he know that? Are there any statistics on how many drunk drivers arrested are illegal immigrants? Can you provide those statistics for me? In santuary cities like Austin and Houston, if someone is arrested for drunk driving the police are NOT ALLOWED TO ASK THEIR IMMIGRATION STATUS. So Geraldo cannot back up that statement.

Lisa said as long as we are getting our lawns mowed, our kids taken care of and our friut picked, we are OK with that. How many on this site have hired illegals to mow your lawn and would you really trust your children to someone whose backgroud you do not know? Good luck trying to do a background check on someone from another nation and if you do leave your kids with someone whose background you don't know, in my opinion that makes you a piss poor parent. So now we have eliminate two of the three reasons leaving only our fruit. Is a nice juicy apple from Washington, picked by illegals, really worth the price we pay?

ME talks about the illegal's tin-shacks-in-shit. Obviously ME has never read the Pew Hispanic Research Center study that shows that most who enter our nation illegally had jobs in their native lands. People who live in tin-shacks-in-shit can't afford the $2,000.00 that it costs for the cayote to bring them here.

Here is a thought for you: illegal immigrants contribute to the state of Texas $1.3 Billion a year in taxes. BUT THEY COST THE STATE OVER $5 BILLION FOR JUST EDUCATION, MEDICAL TREATMENT AND INCARCERATION. Just those three things; and it doesn't include the cost for WIC, AFDC, TANF, public housing or any other social welfare program.

How much are you willing to pay in taxes to support the services required by illegals; special translators for medical facilities, English as a second language teachers, the cost to utility companies to print their bills in Spanish? To support your "I'm such a compassionate person" feelings, how much in extra taxes a year are you willing to cough up? $2,000? $3,000? $4,000? Or you willing to take that much money away from your own family so that you can support your "compasionate" feelings? And what if every ethnic group that has illegals in our nation started demanding the same benefits as those who speak Spanish? Can you see your telephone bill now? It would come in a box because it would include a copy in Gaelic, Farsi, Italian, Polish, German and Cantonese. Think your phone bill might go up just a tad? And every school would have to staff someone who spoke those languages along with all hospitals, doctor's offices and municipal offices.

It is all well and good to be sympathetic to someone's plight. But it really isn't our problem, now is it? Their plight is really the problem of their native nation. We cannot bring all the poor people here. How many in Nigera are much worse off than say, those from Mexico? Are you willing to send 747's to Nigera and bring all those poor people here and support them until they are assimilated enought to earn a living and not require social services?

Why should any illegal respect our laws? They broke them (according to the Pew Hispanic Research Center, knowingly) when they came. Do you think that we they got on this side of the borders they all of a sudden got a sudden twinge to start honoring our laws?

We have enough drunk drivers that are Americans (I know, my father was killed by one). We don't need to be importing them.

COULTER FATIGUE

What is next? Shall we organize an Ann Coulter book burning in the town square? Boycott Ann? Go right ahead, that is your right. But when are you going to boycott all the others who make stupid statements for the purpose of having people talk about them? Where shall we start?

I am sick to death of this PC world we are forced to live in. So Coulter put two words, "faggot" and "Edwards" together in the same sentence. And the right is falling all over themselves to make sure that the left understands that we are all "above" such things when in reality, we should be telling the left to pound sand. Where are all the Democrats apologizing for Bill Maher's statements indicating that people would be alive if someone had had the fortitude to take out a sitting vice-president? Ummmmm?

Perhaps some of you need to sit down and read Gramsci. Since Howard Dean is screaming for the right to denounce Coulter, I am sure he has.

Maybe when, like Coulter, the right stops worrying about insulting those on the left we can take back what we have lost. So while those on the left make snide remarks about our President, and insult anyone who doesn't fall lockstep to their drummer, we are falling all over ourselves to make sure they understand we are such nice people.

Denounce Ann? Nope. I didn't make the comment. I didn't ask her to make the comment. And since I am a conservative who believes in personal responsibility, I will let her apologize for whatever she may think she did wrong. I owe no one an apology. And when the left comes out and denounces people like Cindy Sheehan who wants to go back in time and kill our President while he was a baby instead of standing on the podium with her, I will just understand this for what it is. Indignation of the left that they have raised to the level of an art form while they make the right squirm and convince the right that we should be ashamed of using their own tactics against them.

WAPO SLAMS MURTHA'S "SLOW BLEED THE TROOPS" PLAN

Murtha is either dumb as a brick or smart as a fox. My guess? He's smart as a fox. He wanted to go out in a blaze of glory and being Speaker would have secured that. But you have to go back even further. Mr. Murtha seems to have joined forces with CodePinko and Answer right after the investigation into his making deals that benefited his brother's lobbying firm. And we are talking about hundreds of millions of green backs in defense money diverted to contrators that used his brother's firm. Think about it. What have we heard about that scandal since Murtha became the loudest churping dove? Nada, nix, nil, nothing.
John Murtha is not the first politician to divert attention from the real story; and he won't be the last. But at this point, he is the loudest.

IRAQ: THE WITHDRAWAL CLOCK IS OFFICIALLY TICKING

Yourimagehere, I agree with you when it comes to allowing the enemy to run free among us. Why is CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) allowed to still operate? One of their leaders, a CAIR representative from Dallas, was just recently sentenced to a 7 year prison term for aiding and abetting. Yet, we have TWO Democrats running for congress that is accepting campaign money from these slugs.
I am not stupid and am fully aware of Jihad Watch as well as the writings of Daniel Pipes. I just finished Islam Unveiled by Robert Spencer. I realize that the Islamic faith is still in the 6th century. So your solution is to leave them to themselves? How would you propose to do that when a following of a violent religion stuck in 6th century war mode has 21st century technology?
Perhaps we cannot bring "freedom" to an Islamic nation but we can damn sure bring capitalism. And capitalism is a great motivator as is greed. People who have never had anything besides living in fear will have a change of heart about a lot of things, including their oppressive religion, when they see their bank accounts increase. Japan was once a very religious nation. Would you say that now? Would you say that religion plays the same important part in their society now as it did in 1941?
You say it is not our place to "nation build". I ask you, what did we do in Germany and Japan? Did we not nation build? Why do we still have troops in Germany? The threat of the Cold War has ended, yet we still maintain troops in Germany. Japan is now an ally, but we still have troops in Japan. North Korea has a force in the hundreds of thousands, but we still maintain a force of 29,000 there.
And why are we afraid of Muslim retaliation over some stupid cartoon? Because we know that the Muslims, who subscribe to the Religion of Perpetual Rage, will retaliate. Are you suggesting that we just submit to their demands and leave them alone and that will make everything all honky dorie? I don't think so. And if you think Israel got it right, then you must think that having Katusa rockets lobbed at you on a daily basis is "getting it right".
We are in this fight alone. Europe is rapidly becoming an Islamic continent. More riots (not well covered by the MSM) in Paris, Catholic priests having their heads lopped off, etc. Maybe you are willing to sit back and see if, when we pull out of Iraq, they will just limit their killing spree to each other, but I am not.
And when the terrorists have control over Iraq's vast oil wealth and can buy newer, fancier, deadlier weapons from North Korea or Iran, will you feel safer then knowing our troops are home to catch a rocket like a fast ball pitched over home plate? Or will you be living with a higher fear level just waiting for the next subway bombing, a bridge to be taken down, or a nuclear weapon released in Houston?
When we realize that these terrorists value death more than life, when we realize that Islam is not a religion of peace but a religion of war, when we realize that turning against their own can bring death to a Muslim, when we realize that leaving Iraq will not stop their desire to kill us, then maybe we can start fighting this war to win.
Muslims believe that there is glory in dying in jihad but no glory dying in their own beds. They use our laws against us in our own nation. It is time we start reporting that they (the terrorists) found no glory in Allah because they were killed in their own beds.
No, the war in Iraq is not making us safer. It is rallying the Islamic jihadists to their cause. So what? Do you think that all those jihadists were just sitting around with no ideas of ever fighting us before we went into Iraq? Or were they just waiting for the battle cry? Do you really believe that all those goat herders, cart merchants and wheat farmers were just peaceful people who never thought of fighting for Islam until we came along?
So far our own government (and I blame the left mostly) have made us like the Indians who had bows and arrows fighting against the Calvary who had rifles. The Indians were smarter than us, though. They realized that holding on to their "moral" high ground of fighting with the dignity of traditional Indian ways were only making them dead. So they got rifles and fought back. Only by then, it was too late. They did not win, but they at least gave it a hellofa shot and went down fighting.
Personally, I would rather go down fighting like my Indian ancestors than to throw my hands up like the French and give my nation away without so much of a struggle.
You see, I learned from the Indian wars and Vietnam. You cannot win against an enemy if you are not willing to engage them in battle on THEIR terms and throw away the book. The British held on to their Napoleonic ways of warfare, the colonists adopted the Indian method of warfare, changing in their views. Who won?

Comment Posted By retire05 On 15.10.2006 @ 10:34

You gotta love it. We can't win so just pick up our marbles and bring our troops home. Never mind that General Giap, North Vietnamese Army, said very plainly that the Americans could not be defeated on the battle field but we could be defeated in the streets of our own cities. And so we were.

Never mind that once we pull out of Iraq, the terrorist faction will take over. But maybe they will stop trying to kill us there and just make a harder effort to kill us here. Maybe? And maybe the terrorists won't take possession of the Iraqi oil fields to finance their terrorism against the United States and Israel. Maybe? And maybe they will decide to quit killing their own who practice a different sect of Islam and all the civilian deaths by suicide bombings and IEDs will end. Maybe? And maybe the Kurds will be killed in mass numbers again? Maybe? But so what? We have lost almost three thousand troops and for some any number lost in Iraq would be too great.
Never mind that the Islamofascists have been planning the killing of infidels for 1500 years. Never mind that they really don't care if we are Republican, Democrat or Independent. Never mind that they want all of us converted to Islam or dead. Never mind that Osama Bin Laden himself said that winning the war in Iraq was important to them. Never mind that the killing of infidels is part of their religion and that jihad is the requirement of every Muslim. Never mind that we saw Muslims marching in our own streets during the Israel/Lebanon conflict carrying signs with the Star and Crescent flying over the White House.
How quickly we forget the desires of those who want to conquer us. How quickly we forgot how we felt that Hitler would never be a threat to us. How quickly we forgot how many Cambodians died because we did not have the will to win the war in Vietnam.
The terrorists possess one thing we do not. Patience. They patiently wait to fly planes into our buildings killing 3,000 Americans. They patiently wait for us to lose our will and pull out, giving them a victory in Iraq. But of course, if we just leave them alone, maybe they will leave us alone. Maybe? Never mind that they are telling us, loud and clear, what their intentions are. Conversion or death. They could not be more explicit.
But then maybe some of us realize that while the Islamofascists have had 1500 years to figure out how to kill us infidels, we have only had 5 years to figure out how to fight them. And maybe some of us realize that if we don't fight them, where ever we find them, and win, the way of life we have always known will eventually be controlled by the Religion of Perpetual Outrage, Islam. Take a look around you. A Muslim man in Australia kills his wife because his daughter announced she was going to become a Christian and he blamed his wife, according to Islamic law. Taxi drivers are refusing to take fares that (might) have alcohol in their suitcases. What is next? Refusal to take a fare because a woman is not wearing a burka? Muslims in England raising hell because the Olympics in 2012 coinside with Ramadan.
So the next time you have to go through a search in an airport, remember why you have to go through that search. Remember, that it is because 3,000 Americans were killed because they don't care where they kill us. They just want us dead. And remember, if we give up Iraq to the terrorists, and that is what will happen if we leave, their next target will be the United States, again.
So quit your gritching. Make up your mind that we have to win this war. Quit undermining our troops who are putting their lives on the line every day to keep you from having to worry about fighting Islamfascism in our own streets. We are fighting an enemy that values death more than life, Islam more than any nation and follow a prophet that gave them clear directions to conquer the world for Islam.
So for those of you who feel that this war in Iraq has ceased to be important, just go ahead and convert to Islam now. Not that it will do you much good in the end. Because one sect or another will decide you, as an American, cannot understand the real Islam and will want to see you dead anyway.
Thank God the colonists did not feel the way you do. We would be sending our taxes to London.

"NEVER SAY NEVER"...WELL, OKAY. BUT THE GOP IS TOAST

Bruce, perhaps you haven't heard about the bunch of illegals that are suing Wendy's because when the Wendy's corportation learned the employees were illegal Wendy's let them go. So much for your illegals=no lawsuits theory.

Yep, Truman was a fighter as was Kennedy. But then came LBJ and the Democrat party changed. Instead of doing what he should have done, LBJ let the anti-war people get out of hand ("hey, hey, LBJ, how many kids have you killed today") and by the time Nixon was in office the Communist Party of America had financed a large revolt on our own streets against the war in Vietnam. We didn't lose that war. We gave it away. Vietnam was over by the time Ford took office. So don't know how you can say Ford was a "run and cut" president. There was a time when Democrats stood their ground for our nation's security. FDR when he backed Britian by twisting the law and Truman when he used the atom bomb. But those Democrats no longer exist. Too bad. I hated it when the Democrats left me and sold out to the far left. But I can't support a party that cares more about the rights of terrorists than they do about killing the terrorists.
