Yes, Rick! You express my sentiments exactly. I first noticed this delegitimizing trend during the Clinton years when some of my fellow NRA members used bumper stickers that said, "My President is Charlton Heston." That approach was wrong then and it's wrong now, when aimed at Bush or anyone else.
At the moment it looks as if Obama will win, not an outcome I prefer to say the least. But once he wins he's (gritting teeth) my President.
