BLOOD IS THICKER THAN POLITICS
Nice to know I'm not the only one out there with 9 siblings. I can totally relate to what you're saying about blood being thicker than politics. Sometimes, it's best to shut up and just live a really good example...or make it well known what your position is by dropping lines, or blogs in your case. It's unlikely any of them are going to convert, and thank God we're not held responsible for our siblings opinions and actions. Otherwise, I'd be guilty of adultery, gay marriage, child abuse and alcoholism.
I don't think it's reasonable to expect the Moran's to all think the same either. Come to think of it, Rick probably knows what I mean when I say that it's a good thing that Thanksgiving and Christmas are only once a year! It's hard enough to keep from killing each other over the stupid stuff at family gatherings. Political discussions are the equivalent of a death wish at our family gatherings!
