Rick, I think the link to Kender's paypal is broken... when I clicked, I got "Sorry — your last action could not be completed".
Must be a Paypal issue. It's broken on other sites as well that link back to his donation page.
I would appreciate it if you went to his site and used his tip jar.

Wow, Rick... I didn't realize how exceptionally penetrating your agile mind has become. Imagine, you've seen, what, like 60 minutes of her interviews, and you can state, categorically, that's all there is. Your prescience in these areas is quite impressive indeed!
Or maybe not. Has she been calling you, confiding that she really doesn't know her ass from a hole in the ground? Are you betraying her trust? Shame on you.
It's possible that you are correct, but "the reality of it is that" (and I hate that phrase) nobody reading or writing your blog knows either. You've made a callous, slanderous judgment based on 2 interviews- interviews in which she received more "gotcha" questions than Barrack Obama has received in his entire life. Could it be that she was incredibly nervous, knowing that 1) she was being interviewed by a hostile press and 2) any major gaffe could wreck McCain's campaign. Could it be that she was coached to the point of having to remember specific things that she MUST NOT say?
But thanks for jumping on the bandwagon with the mainstream media. I personally would have looked for more evidence before aligning myself with them.Comment Posted By lionheart On 29.09.2008 @ 14:30

"I agree that she was a wise choice politically. But when I watch her during her interviews, I get the exact same feeling I do when watching GWB. It’s like this uneasy embarrassed feeling. It’s like watching a cute second grade teacher trying to do a college lecture."
Chuck, for once we agree (I used to post as Michael B.)- she's terrible in an interview. But what doesn't make sense to me is the ease and comfort she displayed in the gubernatorial debates (I watched several). I think she's been over-coached, and if they ever let her just say what she feels, she'll present much better.
But like you, right now I get that uneasy embarressed feeling when she interviews.Comment Posted By lionheart On 25.09.2008 @ 16:06
"By 2-1 the public – rightly or wrongly – places the blame for the Wall Street meltdown on Republicans."
Where are you getting those numbers (the 2 to 1)? Let me state up front that I don't have poll numbers to backup anything I present next- its all empirical. However, I think those numbers were the initial reaction of the public. More and more, people are realizing that the key ingredient to the finacial meltdown was Clinton, Frank, and Dodd pressuring F-Mae and F-Mac to provide loans to high credit risk borrowers. Fox has been pushing the story (twice), and several righty-blogs are carrying it too. For obvious reasons, the MSM won't push the story, but fortunately, their monopolization of information distribution is over.
Here is a bold prediction: the financial collapse will be a net gain for McCain.Comment Posted By lionheart On 25.09.2008 @ 15:56
