IMPRESSIVE TURNOUT IN DC FOR PROTEST
i don't know where "official" estimates will come from.
the dc parks administration stopped giving out such figures years ago. this was in fact by congressional order, as it was decided that the actual number of people appearing at the million man march shouldn't be allowed to mar that event's meaning.

not saying anything about the actual crowd size today or who's estimate is more correct.
from just that one aerial shot there this is clearly the largest protest demonstration of right-of-center activists ever, and dwarfs pretty much any answer rally ever held in the capital.
