THE TAO OF JACK

If Ron is correct, this will be the swan song final season of "24". Those who've been present since season #1 won't tolerate such foolishness, political correctness be damned. Only time will tell. BTW, Rick Moran, Ryan Chapelle was killed in season #3. Where the hell have you been? Why hasn't anybody mentioned the silent clock? Am I just imagining that? Do we want blood and guts for the sake of blood and guts? If the answer is yes, then I suggest that you watch Vince McMahon's WWE Monday night Raw instead of "24". In the meantime I prefer to give the writers another hour or two in order to develop the story, and I'm beginning to see developments, i.e. Agent Hillinger. Was wondering why he was so brusque with his spouse. Well, it looks like he's been doing a little extra curricular dipping of the wick with the lovely Erica. Choose what you like, I'm inclined to be patient for awhile.

Please don't take my slavering for violence and blood seriously. These summaries are not meant very seriously and for anyone to believe that I think it an awful thing they haven't killed a lot of Americans or had a bunch of explosions isn't very smart.

CHLOE SLAUGHTERS GARAFALO IN GEEK SHOWDOWN

Hey Yoda, don't worry. "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy", no pun intended here. "24" like any work of fiction is a device for escapism. It has attracted a huge and diverse viewer base which includes the left-wing crowd. The lefties wasted no time getting their collective thong in a wad over real or imagined torture scenes that haven't even materialized yet. It's amazing, all this angst over a work of fiction. Speaking for myself, with the exception of the NFL and "24", I don't waste my time staring at the tube. I'm grateful for the once per week R & R plus this forum to speculate with kindred spirits in the effort to outguess the script writers. We promise to avoid coercing you to watch or comment.

I stand corrected on the compound--hypothermic it is. My advanced years are beginning to take the toll on my hearing, which is vitally important for musicians in general and jazz musicians in particular. Thanks Arthur for the heads up. Even with the advantage of watching over and over on 'Fancast'--which already has the four episodes available to view free of charge (God bless Fancast & their sponsors), I still hear 'hyper'. Looks like I'd better C# or I'll Bb, pun intended.

Tony was injected with a 'hyperthermic' compound? What kind of gobbledygook is that? Chloe, a supergeek? Agreed. Bill might ultimately get killed off if James Morrison has a more lucrative gig elsewhere. Otherwise I don't agree on that one. Further, the ratings would plummet if Chloe gets killed. BTW, with Mary Lynn's pregnancy, will be interesting to watch future camera work.
