I don't think it's McCain, either. Joe Carter just put up a post saying that, based on his experience campaiging in Iowa, he expects Mitt Romney to be brought down by an impending scandal by Jan. 8. Yeah, it could be he's just flacking for his guy Huck, but Joe seemed pretty adamant (plus, he's not working for Huck anymore).
It's getting pretty easy to imagine McCain's "last man standing" strategy can work.
